Maddie Moats

Maddie Moats, Social Media Co-Director

Maddie Moats was born in Akron, Ohio, and she moved to Prosper in 2012. A senior at PHS, Maddie works at Starbucks and enjoys writing, dancing, biking, longboarding, reading vintage magazines, and is currently trying to learn how to ride a unicycle.

Hope Squad students write reminders on the windows in the halls. Hope Squad wrote these messages during Suicide Prevention Week, but also writes them frequently as a reminder for students. “During class we walk around and write positive things” Hope Squad member Junior Alyssa Clark said.  “We hope these uplift people’s days.”

Prosper wrestles at home meet Jan. 31. The boys are the 2018 THSWCA state champions. Their next meet will be Feb. 7 at Coppell against District 6-6A Championships.

Keegan Shoemaker stands alongside his parents as he receives his All-American jersey. Shoemaker committed to Lafayette college earlier this year. Shoemaker led the football team to nine wins in his senior season at quarterback.
