Sitting still for the artist, a young girl receives a holiday face painting. The annual “Christmas on the Square” festival in downtown Celina, Texas was held Dec. 2. The event featured festivities, including horse-drawn carriages, bounce houses, Christmas carolers and face painting.

  • The 79th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor is marked on National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Dec. 7.
