Cate Emma Warren

Cate Emma Warren, Editor-in-Chief of The Eagle Times

Cate Emma Warren is a senior who started in Prosper ISD in 2019. She is a HOSA officer, on the Prosper Theatre officer board, a part of the lacrosse team, and is a Girl Scout. Cate Emma loves photography because she believes it helps to tell a story. She hopes later on people will look at her work and see her passion for that. She is excited to be first ever Print Editor-in-Chief this school year and work on staff for the fourth year.

The Hardware Store Owner played by junior Cooper Smith keeps his head low while looking down towards a grave. Last year, Smith worked as lighting technician of The Drowsy Chaperone, the spring musical. He also played Demetrius in A Midsummers Night Dream in last years spring play.

The Perfume Maker played by junior Tate Lauby smiles brightly while sitting at the diner. Lauby said he loves playing challenging roles. I am most looking forward to growing relationships with new people who I dont know super well yet, Lauby said. I also am super excited to add another show Ive done to my list.

Looking down at her book, the Librarian, played by junior Madeleine Wentz, stands in front of her computer. Wentz is also a member of Eagle Nation News. Im most excited about rehearsing, developing, and performing my monologue, Wentz said. Its such a touching and important moment and I hope to bring a tear to the audiences eye.

The Young Man, played by sophomore Titus Boyd, clutches his chest. Boyd said he is most good to participate in a big show. It’s great, Boyd said. We have a small cast, so it makes rehearsals more personal and so much smoother.

It feels like I am home again, the stage is truly a place that brings me a lot of joy, Parrish said. I have not had the privilege of really interacting with the crew yet but I am excited to have that collaboration.
