Gracie Archibeque is a senior and this is her second year on ENO staff. She loves taking pictures for local bands as well as big touring bands as press. In her free time she plays guitar, bass and drums, goes to concerts and sells handmade jewelry! She also loves her kittys and dogs.

In a a graphic made my senior Juliana Cruz, displays a playlist of what music is involved in the episode. It includes a local Indie Rock band and fan-favorite Rock band. Todays songs were Flush and Poison by Laredo Two and Now and Then by the Beatles.

Elementary school teacher Abigail Peterson strolls on Oct. 15 through the park she use to play in as a kid. As she walked, she came upon a surprise orchestrated by math teacher Gabe Owens. Who would have thought a school hashtag would allow us to meet, Peterson posted on her X (formerly Twitter) account on Oct. 16. Now he’s my fiancé.

In celebration of a successful sack, senior Davis Perkins runs toward the sidelines as he lets out an excited scream. Perkins plays as a defensive linebacker. He was a part of the homecoming court for this school year, alongside his girlfriend, senior Alexis Kirksey. The festivities began at 6:15 p.m., 45 minutes before kickoff.

Broken glass fills this view of sophomore Kritika Kothas family car. Kothas sister took this picture as she hid in the vehicle, which had been shot at during the shooting at Allen Premium Outlets. The shooting occurred May 6. In the attached article, experts give safety information to implement, including advice to conceal and cover in order to survive this type of situation. Conceal means Im hidden, but it wont stop a bullet, like a bush, thin door, or wall, former officer Lt. Mike Archibeque said. Cover means it will stop a bullet and protect you – a concrete wall/pillar or a car engine block. The more items you can put between you and the shooter, the greater the likelihood it will stop the bullets.

Members of the winter guard spin pink, orange and red flags. Under the direction of Lindsay Kusmierczak, varsity and JV winter guard have concluded their seasons. I joined color guard in the beginning because I heard of how close the community was. Not only within our guard but in others too,” freshman JV member Klarissa Warren said. “Every guard connects on a certain level and the amount of long lasting friendships Ive made thanks to guard this year is crazy to me.”

Senior Elisa Arbaizas says she received inspiration for this state-qualifying piece, Golden Frames, by walking through an art museum. Looking through the lens of someone else walking the exhibit, Arbaiza wants to show her life from a different point of view. With this piece, I wanted to show how I’ve held onto past good memories and successes, comparing my present self to my past, Arbaiza said. The images are memories from my past, and I also emphasize the empty frames, representing the future. I have always referenced past good experiences and how they made me more scared of getting older and facing adulthood. After getting scored on, Coppells goalie rests his head after tie breaks. Taking turns, both goalies prepare for the puck. “We have one more game left in the season. I most likely wont get to play being a goalie that alternates games,” Prosper goalie Jacob McGovern said. “So with that game being most likely my last, it was a lot to think about. It is a shame that is is all over for me. However, life must go on. There will be other opportunities for me to do what I love.”

While fans thrash together, lead singer and guitarist, Tyler Ross plays a solo from the song, ‘Flush’ from Laredo Two’s new EP ‘Poison’. Debuting the bands three new songs released Aug. 27, fans from all over the DFW area united together in Flower Mound for the bands biggest show yet at Thrash Fest Aug. 24. The trio will be playing at DV8 in Plano, Tx Dec. 11. “My favorite part of Laredo Two’s shows is the unity within the audience, photographer Gracie Archibeque said. “It truly feels like a big family”.
