Emerging from the darkness, lead singer Billy Corgan casts a shadow over the audience. The Smashing Pumpkins make an appearance less than a year later in Dallas for “The World Is A Vampire” tour for their latest release, "ATUM." Some fans argue this performance beats their last show, with the complex lighting and intimacy between the artist and the crowd, making bearing the heat worth it.

Caps in the air, the class of 2026 celebrates their final moments as Prosper High School students. 755 students graduated this year. "It's kind of bittersweet," senior Jerrick Jeyasee Kamaraj Christopher said. "Yes, I'm excited to graduate, but I'm going to miss the community here at Prosper. But, there's so many new opportunities that are opening up, so I'm very excited to explore all of that."
Seniors celebrate 2026 graduation
Blue and red lights flashing, a fire truck leaves in the middle of the ceremony to respond to a nearby emergency. The alarm sounded and the ceiling monitors flashed, notifying firefighter paramedics who left instantly. Later, the fire truck came back and attendees pushed it back into the station as a tradition, symbolizing the final step of the ceremony.

Huddling together before a mini game, freshmen Connor Chastain, Mason Yoo-Tritt and sophomore Andrew Hoye converse with the youth participants. All three are members of the JV baseball team. "I think the event went really well, it was a good turnout, and I think the kids had a good time and that's what it's all about," Cooper Duncan, junior, JV baseball team member said. "I'm most excited to get going, being around my teammates and having a good season."

Harmony in every voice
Fists in the air, sophomore Ayden Holman showcases her stunt. It was announced that Holman was a JV Game Girl of the Week on Oct. 25, 2025. Along with being on the cheer team, Holman participates in powerlifting, placing fourth in her latest meet two weeks ago.

Before kickoff on Thursday, Jan. 22, the soccer team held a senior night recognition. Senior players were acknowledged for their time with the program. They gathered on the field for a group photo as part of the pregame ceremony.

Looking ahead, assistant Jimmy Frideley takes a break from his work as he contemplates his next job, which means leaving Prosper High for the Richland High campus. Frideley has been an AP for the past three years and at PHS for six. He taught social studies and special education before becoming an assistant principal.

Holding a microphone, Head Tennis Coach Curtis Martin praises his tennis players at their banquet. The event took place Apr. 29 from 6-9 p.m. Both JV and Varsity teams were recognized by their coaches, peers and families.

Made in Canva, the design depicts how the new yearbooks are on the way, and almost ready to be given out to students. The Eagle Yearbook staff worked on the book throughout the whole year. "We sort them into boxes alphabetically," senior Isabella Rodriguez said. "So when someone comes up to the table in the arena foyer, we can just go and find the book super easily."

Looking back on the memories she has made, senior Emily Logan created a collage of moments she enjoyed. Logan is going to the University of North Texas and is planning on majoring in Psychology. "It's been a long road," Logan said. "I'm excited to finally be at the first pit stop."
