Emerging from the darkness, lead singer Billy Corgan casts a shadow over the audience. The Smashing Pumpkins make an appearance less than a year later in Dallas for “The World Is A Vampire” tour for their latest release, "ATUM." Some fans argue this performance beats their last show, with the complex lighting and intimacy between the artist and the crowd, making bearing the heat worth it.

It was definitely a cool experience, junior Jacob Piehl said. It was crazy seeing how quickly the moon came over the sun and how dark everything was. The song is basically about marching for freedom for black people and no more segregation, Tull said. Its really just the characters talking about how there is a plan, that there has been suffering, that there are things that they need to do and that they can do it together.

This season has been very different to other seasons through out mentality and chemistry. Our team comes in to every game fired up and ready to go, Berg said. Last season we came into playoffs thinking we won something already and ended up losing, This season we knew what we had to do and we went out there and did it.
