Eagle Brief: Sept. 14-18
Hope Squad students write reminders on the windows in the halls. Hope Squad wrote these messages during Suicide Prevention Week, but also writes them frequently as a reminder for students. “During class we walk around and write positive things” Hope Squad member Junior Alyssa Clark said. “We hope these uplift people’s days.”

Eagle Update
- Volleyball won their first two scrimmages
- Eagle Nation News aired their first episode
- Prosper High School event calendar
- The numbers and percentages of COVID-19 cases are updated and recorded on the PISD instruction plan
- To level down from an honors or AP class, students should turn in the request to drop an advanced academic class form to their counselor
- The virtual counseling office is available for online students to meet individually with their counselors
- For National Preparedness Month, the theme this week is to prepare for disasters.
- Students can enter their work into the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards of 2021 for scholarships and cash awards
- The varsity volleyball team’s game against Lovejoy was canceled Sept. 15
Upcoming
- The swim team will compete against Independence at 6 p.m. Sept. 16
- The Rock Hill and Prosper baseball teams will scrimmage at the Rock Hill fields Sept. 16
- Football will play in their first scrimmage away against Marcus at 7 p.m. Sept. 17
- Tennis will play at McKinney High School at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 18
- Volleyball will play against Flower Mound at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 18
- Cross Country will compete at South Lake Park at 7 a.m. Sept. 19
- Meet the Eagles will kick off at 7 p.m. Sept. 19
- AP exam registration will close Nov. 2, and all exams must be paid for by Nov. 6
