Haley Stack, Assistant Editor
Haley Stack is 17 years old and a senior at Prosper High School. She started journalism in her 7th-grade year and has continued with it since. She currently works as an advocate for student journalism by campaigning for New Voices Texas and speaking to journalism students across the country. She was honored at the Women’s Media Center gala in Nov. of 2018 where she was awarded the ‘Young Journalist’ award. She also attended the 2018 TEDWomen conference in Palm Springs where she gave a talk over the importance of student journalists. She also participates in the UIL Academic Journalism team and won numerous awards including a Tops in Texas runner up in news feature writing and an ‘Excellence’ in Commentary Writing at the Journalism Educators Association.
