Haley Medeiros, Social Media Director, Reporter
Haley Medeiros was born in New Jersey, calls Massachusetts home, but has also lived in California and Texas. She moved to Prosper the summer of 2017 and is currently a junior. Haley is the Social Media Director for ENO this year and is so excited for the challenge. She loves to write, play with her German Shepherd and Golden Retriever, and sleep. She is excited for her second year on staff, and can't wait to cover more stories.

Haley Stack is 17 years old and a senior at Prosper High School. She started journalism in her 7th-grade year and has continued with it since. She currently works as an advocate for student journalism by campaigning for New Voices Texas and speaking to journalism students across the country. She was honored at the Women's Media Center gala in Nov. of 2018 where she was awarded the ‘Young Journalist’ award. She also attended the 2018 TEDWomen conference in Palm Springs where she gave a talk over the importance of student journalists. She also participates in the UIL Academic Journalism team and won numerous awards including a Tops in Texas runner up in news feature writing and an ‘Excellence’ in Commentary Writing at the Journalism Educators Association.

  • Joined by the Prosper and Rock Hill varsity baseball teams, Jaxson Little stands on the PHS field. Prior to game time, the teams recognized Little and his journey. Both teams wore orange during pregame for both games, in honor of Little.

  • In Long Beach, California, ENN and EPG celebrate their awards at the Student Television Network National Convention. ENN received the Broadcast Excellence award for the first time ever. EPG received best drama film.

  • At the Prosper town hall, theatre officers from PHS, RHHS and WGHS stand with Fine Arts Director Tim Doyle and Mayor David Bristol after Theatre in Our Schools was proclaimed Feb. 27. TIOS is a national campaign to promote and spread awareness about the benefits of theatre education. Theatre in Our Schools Month is important because it raises awareness about the value of theatre education in schools, junior Annabelle Nugent said. It emphasizes the positive impact performing arts on students, promoting creativity, collaboration, and individuality.

  • Holding up their national qualifier plaques, sophomore Tanish Chauhan, junior Avery Parker and Junior Mahnoor Waqas. They competed in congressional debate. In total there were nine national qualifiers.

  • Before the DECA award ceremony, seniors Keeley Dailey, Architha Yerragunta, Kaya Miller and Rithika Chakrapani are dressed professionally. The DECA state competition was held in Houston Feb. 15-17. Six students qualified for the international competition.
