Michael Ramirez was born in San Antonio and moved to Prosper in 2017. Ramirez is currently a senior finishing his final year at Prosper High School. Ramirez is passionate about photography, friends and family. In his free time, Ramirez loves to get coffee with friends and spend time with his family.

As they avoid looking into the sun, seniors Michael Ramirez, Andrea Melendrez, Molly Petroskey, Jacob Christy, Katie Barrett, Nicholas Delfino and Niah Jaraczewski group together during a first-semester senior lunch. They have been friends since freshman year. Some friends argue, while some friends may never make up, Ramirez said. I was able to keep these amazing people.

It gives me better feeling knowing that I was able to pass on my knowledge to someone else.

As the featured image for LGBT Women In History, Rao decided she wanted to have a hand drawn image to inspire artistic feelings in her listeners. I just think its fun and down to earth to create an image that I feel like fits my podcast without photos, Rao said. I enjoyed learning how to do digital artwork and create the image myself.

With the release of her third album Solar Power, Lorde produced 12 different tracks, three of them were released prior to the album. Some key themes mentioned in the album include nature, fame and loss. Lordes bright voice fits in so well with the relaxing, soothing chords featured in each song, reviewer and senior Alyssa Clark said. This album was a new sound for Lorde, but she faults in the repetitiveness of each song.

Instruments in the air, the Prosper Mighty Eagle Band performs during the new student pep rally Thursday, Aug. 5. This gathering marked one of the many programs created this year to welcome students to the school. I was really excited about the freshman/new student pep rally because it presented a great opportunity to help students feel welcome and be immersed into the Eagle Nation environment, spirit leader organizer Natalie Merrill said. We want to continue to foster an engaging sense of school spirit, and pep rallies are a perfect way to do so.
