Kester Muthalaly is senior at Prosper High School. He lives with his mom and dad, while his brother attends Oral Roberts University where Kester will soon join him. He has won a few journalism awards, and is a member of the 2018 All-State Journalism Staff. He loves going to Gateway church, as well as Photoshop and teaching students how to shoot photos.

"(It's worth it) because they say that it looks really cool, and they want to know about it, which is why we're doing it," Mattox said. "They see the dead version of me everywhere I go and what it would be like -an empty space."

"When I was in the hospital, I saw a lot of drunk driving accidents. Logic is completely taken away when alcohol is the situation."

After hearing the testimonials of previous students who have attended Camp RYLA, Interact Club sponsor Rodney McCall said he encourages juniors to apply to go. Juniors interested in attending Camp RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award), a student leadership training camp, should fill out an application and return it to the counselors' offices by Friday, Mar. 8. To get involved with Rotary, students can join the high school version, Interact Club. "Returning for their senior year, the students have taken on a variety of leadership roles around our school and around our community," McCall said.
