  • NHS Applications are now open to any student who has a 3.5 overall GPA or higher. Reach out to Ms. Pirovano or Mrs. Ballard with any questions.
  • Mu Alpha Theta – the math honor society is now accepting membership applications. To qualify, you need an overall unweighted GPA of 3.5, a math course average of 90 or higher, and have completed Algebra 1 and Geometry. Use the QR code to apply. The deadline is Friday, Feb. 23 at 5 p.m. Don’t miss your opportunity to join! See Mrs. Richey or Mr. Adkins with questions.
  • The PHS Model UN team is holding a fundraiser at Chipotle on Sunday, March 3 from 5-8 p.m. Make sure to tell them you’re from the Model UN team to support them.
  • 9th 10th and 11th graders – if you selected a CTE Program for one of your courses next year, you must fill out a Program Application. CTE Programs include Auto Tech, Culinary Arts, Broadcast and all Practicum classes. You can find the Program Application on the the Course Selection Page of the PHS website. Please complete this application as soon as possible. Music Production, Partners PE, Sports Medicine and Student Leadership have applications as well. Please check the course catalog if you are unsure if your course selection requires an application.
  • Prosper ISD does not offer courses for advancement. If you would like to take a class this summer to advance or take a CBE, you must take this course through an approved program as well as complete a form that you may pick up from your counselor. CBE’s can only be taken through PISD. Courses may only be taken from PISD-approved programs.

Uplifting

  • PHS Varsity Boys Swim won first in regional championships. This is the first time in school history that the men have won this meet at the 6A level.
    • Sophomore Brayden Jones lowered his own 100-back record as well as being regional champion,
    • Senior Jacob Wimberly got 1st place in the 100 fly.
    • The team of sophomore Brayden Jones, senior John Stewart, junior Meng Yeo and senior Jacob Wimberly lowered the 200-medley relay record.
    • The team of senior Jacob Wimberly, junior Michael Morrow, junior Meng Yeo and junior Josh Stewart claimed 1st in the 200 Free Relay
    • The team of senior Jacob Wimberly, sophomore Brayden Jones, junior Josh Stewart, and junior Michael Morrow finished 1st in the 400 Free Relay.
  • PHS Varsity Girls Swim placed 6th overall and ended with four new school records.
    • Junior Addison Johnson lowered her own 50 and 100 free school records
    • The team of junior Addison Johnson, freshman Kendall Backus, junior Ava Goodwill and sophomore Sienna Acuff set new school records in the 200 and 400 free relays.

Kaya Miller, Co-Editor-in-Chief
Kaya Miller, originally from Los Angeles, California, moved to Prosper, Texas in 2017. She attends Prosper High School as a senior. This is her third year on staff, and she is co-editor-in-chief of Eagle Nation Online and editor-in-chief of the print newspaper Eagle Nation Times. Miller is on the Prosper debate team as historian. She is also president of the Spanish Honor Society. Miller is also on the Dallas Rowing Club Juniors team. In her free time, she enjoys baking and playing guitar.

Will Ligon is a junior, and this is his first year on staff on ENO. He is in marching band and plays the trumpet. Will works as a freelance voiceover/voice actor. He made his first podcast, "The Memory Space," last year.
