Sketching at a desk, Sapphire Vasquez works on a portrait. Sapphire Vasquez is a substitute teacher for art. "I've enjoyed (the different art) a lot because everybody has a different style, everybody wants different materials," Vasquez said. Made in Canva, the design depicts how the new yearbooks are on the way, and almost ready to be given out to students. The Eagle Yearbook staff worked on the book throughout the whole year. "We sort them into boxes alphabetically," senior Isabella Rodriguez said. "So when someone comes up to the table in the arena foyer, we can just go and find the book super easily."
News Brief: Yearbook distribution days approach
Holding a fire hose to act as a ribbon, Assistant Fire Chief Shaw Eft, Fire Chief Stuart Blasingame, Mayor David Bristol and Town Manager Mario Canizares prepare to officially launch Fire Station 4. The department opened its doors to the public on April 28 at 3 p.m. "If there's a lightning strike, we can get an engine to that site location quicker," Bristol said. "Chief Blasingame is manning the station with a fire engine paramedic crew, so on that engine, it can handle any paramedic need as well as fighting a fire."
A spark for safety
Jumping over a hurdle, junior Riley Kincade focuses on the track. Kincade's primary position is contributing to the 100m High Hurdles team. Members of the Track & Field team competed at the UIL 6A Region 1 Championship from May 1-2 at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Walking stage right for "Spread a Little Sunshine," Nicole Wolf Gonzalez sings to the audience. On Friday, April 24, Prosper Theatre had their second show for the musical "Pippin." The department had two other shows on April 22 and April 25.

Caps in the air, the class of 2026 celebrates their final moments as Prosper High School students. 755 students graduated this year. "It's kind of bittersweet," senior Jerrick Jeyasee Kamaraj Christopher said. "Yes, I'm excited to graduate, but I'm going to miss the community here at Prosper. But, there's so many new opportunities that are opening up, so I'm very excited to explore all of that."
Seniors celebrate 2026 graduation
The photos display aspects of senior Trisha Panicker's life, from journalism to debate to spending time with her friends. Panicker will be double majoring in politics and journalism in college. "I want to continue the work I was doing in Prosper, from covering locals to reporting on community events and traditions," Panicker said. "The joy and purpose that this gives me will hopefully motivate my future endeavors during my time in university."
Senior Column: How journalism changed my life
Looking ahead, assistant Jimmy Frideley takes a break from his work as he contemplates his next job, which means leaving Prosper High for the Richland High campus. Frideley has been an AP for the past three years and at PHS for six. He taught social studies and special education before becoming an assistant principal.
Assistant principal focuses career on student advocacy
In a collage of photos, senior Aarushi Rana showcases her highschool memories. Rana has been on the newspaper team for two years. "Journalism has my heart," Rana said. "I have made some of my best memories in this room."
Senior Column: How I found my passion
Made in Canva by Grace Suzuki, the graphic features photos taken by and featuring Victoria Byers. Byers is the Eagle Nation Online and Eagle Nation Times Social Media Director. She is graduating high school and leaving the program to go to Howard University.
Senior Column: How do you do it all?!
Through a graphic designed in Pixlr by sophomore Ethan Chatelain, the minimalistic style of the fourteenth episode of the second season of The Sound Spectrum is presented. For this episode, hosts Chatelain and Victoria Byers review and discuss Thundercat’s latest album, “Distracted” Overall, the album was rated an eight on the “Sound Spectrum” scale.

Sahasra is a sophomore at Prosper High School. This is her first year working for Eagle Nation Online and Eagle Nation Times, and she is very excited for what’s coming next. She is a student in Musical Theatre and Choir. In her free time, Sahasra enjoys listening to music, catching up on new Netflix shows, and trying out new things.
