Caitlyn Kennedy is a Senior, and this is her second year on staff as Design Editor. She was born and raised in Hebron, Kentucky and recently moved to Prosper, Texas. She enjoys running Cross Country, playing guitar, working at the Grace Bridge Warehouse, reading, painting, listening to music, eating at Jimbos Pizza, and hanging out with friends. In this episode, freshmen Jake Radcliffe, sophomore Christian Alfano and seniors Aiden Ulmer and Michael Ramirez discuss crunch culture in the gaming industry, how it affects games and developers and some possible solutions. Crunch culture is when game developers are forced to work many hours of overtime in order to meet previously set deadlines. Crunch culture gets worse every day in the gaming industry, and the casts goal in this episode is to spread awareness to just how bad it has become. Celebrating a win, the varsity volleyball team throws their hands up. Students who came and filled up the stands got free pizza. We really took control of that first set. By extending the lead the first half of the set. Then we can relax a bit in the second half. If we make a few errors thats okay. We still have a healthy lead, head coach Erin Kauffman. Were playing really well right now. Were playing hard. Our defense is better than its been in a while. Our passing looks good, and overall Im really happy with what were doing.

The performance included many dancers, among them was Kennedy and Jimbos Pizza employee Anthony Torres.

The Jimbos Pizza sign hangs on the wall on the stage. One of the owner, Dago Rodriguezs, close friends made this sign for him. I came to Jimbos for pizza and left with a life long friend, customer Ben Jones said. Something I learned later was his pizza was how he gets everyone to do what he wants. So I decided to hang around, hoping to find out his secret for making pizza.

Senior Kylie Sicilian watches her truss break. Sicilian plans on going to Alabama University and majoring in aerospace engineering. My least favorite thing about the project was constructing the design, Sicilian said. But, so far, I have learned from this project how to figure out the calculations needed to build a stable bridge and being able to work with the tools that you are given.

Senior Alex Stowers, Seniors Herman Lee, Bobbie Oramalu, Wenallis Thomas, Abi Aguwa, Taylor Pinkney, Abishai Aryee, Martez Harris, Jamari Abney and junior Samantha Wlodawsky all laugh at a joke that was made. I want to go into the engineering field, so I chose this class and Im taking another class for engineering as well, Sicilian said. I plan on going to Alabama University and majoring in aerospace engineering.

With their horns up, the Prosper Mighty Eagle Band practices their 2020 halftime show. The band is set to perform their show with scores from Earth Wind and Fire at home football games. I am sad that we wont be able to march a full competition show, senior Xander Byrd said. But I am glad that we are able to put a new show together even though it is different and smaller.

Sophomore Aubrey OConnell races in the 5,000-meter competition. OConnell won the state meet and was named Athlete of the Year. If there’s one thing I learned about Aubrey this year, is she’s got more fight than anybody, and she definitely proved that today, assistant coach Ty Morton said. She was behind until about 200 meters left, and that other girl couldn’t handle what Aubrey was bringing with her.

The girls cross country team displays their winnings after placing third at the UIL 6A state championship. Sophomore Aubrey OConnell placed first, senior Tatum Castillo placed 21st and Alexis Svoboda placed 26th. OConnell won the race and is this years 6A State Champion.
