Aaron Boateng, Multimedia Director

Aaron Boateng is the Multi-Media Director for Eagle Nation Online. As a senior this is his first year on staff. Aaron discovered his passion for all things media through photojournalism and as a freelance photographer. Aaron hopes to compete and win in multiple photography contests this 2019-2020 school year. He hopes to reach people and tell a story through all things media. Born and raised in Missouri, Aaron values community over everything. We are Prosper, we are one.

Urban Sons sings their original song "Clementine" at practice. The band has plans of releasing the song in the coming months. "We're working on originals right now," guitarist Jack Funk said. "Last concert was our first one, so we did covers, and it's kind of hard to be an original artist because no one is going to come to your concerts. Hopefully, by next concert, we will have some originals to play."

The vehicles sit in traffic as they wait for police officers to let them into Children's Health Stadium at Prosper parking lots. No crosswalk or additional lighting is available for the students and community members who must cross this roadway to return to the designated student pick-up area at Boyer.

Homecoming queen Victoria Carpenter receives a bouquet of flowers from student body president Preston Cutler. Carpenter ran alongside senior Panashe Ruswayi. They were also named to the sophomore homecoming court in 2017. "I am very happy for the win, but more importantly I am grateful that all of the contestants display great leadership and discipline in everyday life," Carpenter said. "At Prosper, we are one, and I share this with all the beautiful queens of PHS."

Following sunset, fireworks light up the sky Aug. 16 for the finale of Meet the Eagles. The event recognized fall sports including football, volleyball, swim and dive, tennis, cross country, Talonettes and cheer. Meet the Eagles was the first event open to the public at the new Children's Health Stadium.

The Lady Eagles huddle together in arena Sept. 7 anticipating their match-up against the McKinney Lions. Now the ladies are in play-offs, and the play-off privileges have included "No-shave November" privileges for the guys in honor of the football team making the play-offs. Now, the girls are allowed to wear pajama pants as their play-off privileges in honor of the success of the girls' athletic programs. The varsity volleyball team plays Klein in the regional semi-finals Friday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. in Sam Houston State University's Bernard G. Johnson Coliseum in Huntsville. Tickets will be $6. The regional finals will be Saturday at 1 p.m.

Volleyball players take advantage of their time in the arena during Eagle Time, which begins at 9:50 each morning after first period on A days and fifth period on B days. All athletes report to the arena for this study hall period, and coaches are available to help them with their studies. "I like Eagle Time. I think it's helpful," cross country runner Spencer Marcum said.
