Eagles win over McKinney Boyd Broncos at homecoming game
Homecoming queen Victoria Carpenter receives a bouquet of flowers from student body president Preston Cutler. Carpenter ran alongside senior Panashe Ruswayi. They were also named to the sophomore homecoming court in 2017. “I am very happy for the win, but more importantly I am grateful that all of the contestants display great leadership and discipline in everyday life,” Carpenter said. “At Prosper, we are one, and I share this with all the beautiful queens of PHS.”
Senior spirit leader Sam Covert dances with the drum line and hypes up the crowd. "Being a spirit leader has been a great opportunity for me, as it has given me the ability to help plan and direct school events that bring high school students and community members together," Covert said. "I wanted to do my best to help bring spirit back to Prosper."
