Haley Medeiros, Social Media Director, Reporter
Haley Medeiros was born in New Jersey, calls Massachusetts home, but has also lived in California and Texas. She moved to Prosper the summer of 2017 and is currently a junior. Haley is the Social Media Director for ENO this year and is so excited for the challenge. She loves to write, play with her German Shepherd and Golden Retriever, and sleep. She is excited for her second year on staff, and can't wait to cover more stories.

Haley Stack is 17 years old and a senior at Prosper High School. She started journalism in her 7th-grade year and has continued with it since. She currently works as an advocate for student journalism by campaigning for New Voices Texas and speaking to journalism students across the country. She was honored at the Women's Media Center gala in Nov. of 2018 where she was awarded the ‘Young Journalist’ award. She also attended the 2018 TEDWomen conference in Palm Springs where she gave a talk over the importance of student journalists. She also participates in the UIL Academic Journalism team and won numerous awards including a Tops in Texas runner up in news feature writing and an ‘Excellence’ in Commentary Writing at the Journalism Educators Association.

  • After golf regionals, sophomore Erica Lee, junior Kendall Simms, freshman Tatum Churchman, freshman London Pearson and junior Sophia Duque present their scores. The team finished fifth and were district champions. Churchman led with a score of 71.

    Eagle Brief: April 22 – 28

  • Running toward the ball, sophomore Ava Germany dribbles past her opponent. It felt great to make it to state, Germany said. The games leading up were all games that had people biting their nails. It came down to the last minute in every playoff game it felt like. I think the biggest challenge our team faced during state was confidence. Everyone believed in us to win we just had to believe in ourselves and even with the result we got I believe we could have been more confident.

  • Trophy in the air, the Varsity Girls soccer team celebrates qualifying for state. The team beat Marcus on April 6. The team is selling t-shirts so click the link below to order one.

  • After their competition, the girls robotics team celebrates advancing to state. They competed against 38 other teams. All three of the PISD robotics teams made it to the semi-finals with 5411 RoboTalons being the 4th seed alliance captains. They teamed up with 9105 TechnoTalons and came in 5th place. 9492 LadyTalons were chosen by the 7th seed alliance captain and came in 4th place.

  • Joined by the Prosper and Rock Hill varsity baseball teams, Jaxson Little stands on the PHS field. Prior to game time, the teams recognized Little and his journey. Both teams wore orange during pregame for both games, in honor of Little.
