After golf regionals, sophomore Erica Lee, junior Kendall Simms, freshman Tatum Churchman, freshman London Pearson and junior Sophia Duque present their scores. The team finished fifth and were district champions. Churchman led with a score of 71.

Uplifting

  • Junior Sutton Stewart is your High Jump Regional Champion and qualified for the State track meet.
  • Congratulations to sophomore Kate Pemberton, Pole Vault Regional Champion and our 1st State qualifier of the weekend.
  • Eagle Nation Online adviser Lisa Roskens was named Texas Journalism Teacher of the Year.
  • The girls golf team finished fifth and were seven shots shy of advancing to State. They were led by freshman Tatum Churchman, who shot 71. They were District Champions and junior Kendall Simms was the Individual District Champion.
  • The top 10 students of the 2024 class were announced in this order: seniors Kaitlin Hoover, Yanhao (Benny) Hu, Ray Arcand, Riley Wanasek, Mackenzie Epps, Shriyans Reddy Pendli, James Kim, Rayaan Hameed, Mahalakshmi Sivasubramanian and Sachin Kamesh.

Kaya Miller, Co-Editor-in-Chief
Kaya Miller, originally from Los Angeles, California, moved to Prosper, Texas in 2017. She attends Prosper High School as a senior. This is her third year on staff, and she is co-editor-in-chief of Eagle Nation Online and editor-in-chief of the print newspaper Eagle Nation Times. Miller is on the Prosper debate team as historian. She is also president of the Spanish Honor Society. Miller is also on the Dallas Rowing Club Juniors team. In her free time, she enjoys baking and playing guitar.
