Joined by the Prosper and Rock Hill varsity baseball teams, Jaxson Little stands on the PHS field. Prior to game time, the teams recognized Little and his journey. Both teams wore orange during pregame for both games, in honor of Little.

Upcoming

  • Easter Break: March 29 – April 1.
  • Please join me, Prosper Eagles Baseball, and the Prosper ISD Athletics community in supporting Jaxson Little and his family as we battle Jaxson’s leukemia together. Every donation, no matter the size, can make a difference. We will be wearing Jaxson Little Strong shirts for games at Rock Hill on Tuesday and Orange Out at Prosper High School on Friday.
  • NeuroNext Foundation will be running a stationary and school supply drive. Please bring any extra school supplies like pencils, notebooks, backpacks, etc. in good condition to the following rooms: 2210, 3103, 2245, or 1148. The donation period is from Feb. 20 to April 18. All donations go to special education schools and facilities in the US and India for children in need.
  • The Prosper Theatre UIL Team will perform their play “The Ballad of Maria Marten” at the district competition on Wednesday.

Uplifting

  • Prosper Boys Lacrosse beat Dripping Springs on March 23.
  • Junior Nora Ryan sets a new PR in the 800m run at the Jesuit-Sheaner Relays with a time of 2:15.35.
  • Juniors Alivia Spangler and Reagan Reed both PR in the 1600m at the Jesuit-Sheaner Relays with a 5:07.80 and a 5:10.25.
  • Two Eagle Powerlifters competed in the THSPA State Championship Meet on March 22 in Abilene.
    • Junior Trey Shirey broke all of his school records on the way to a 3rd place finish in the 123 lbs class.
    • Junior Leo Anguiano tied one of his personal records and finished 28th out of 46 competitors.
    • Senior Peyton Hulett was named to the Elite Academic All-State Team.

Kaya Miller, Co-Editor-in-Chief
Kaya Miller, originally from Los Angeles, California, moved to Prosper, Texas in 2017. She attends Prosper High School as a senior. This is her third year on staff, and she is co-editor-in-chief of Eagle Nation Online and editor-in-chief of the print newspaper Eagle Nation Times. Miller is on the Prosper debate team as historian. She is also president of the Spanish Honor Society. Miller is also on the Dallas Rowing Club Juniors team. In her free time, she enjoys baking and playing guitar.

Riley McConnell, Chief Operating Officer
Riley McConnell is a senior at Prosper High School and is the Chief Operating Officer for Eagle Nation Online. This is her third year on staff and is involved in the Football Operations Department, an organization she is a founding member of. She is also the head photographer for the school's baseball team, alongside pursuing her personal photography career.
