Brian Bock, Reporter and Photographer

Brian Bock was born in Arizona, but raised in Kansas, and now is doing his thing as a skateboarding, picture and video taking, love spreading dude in Prosper, Texas. Brian is a reporter and photographer for Eagle Nation Online and hopes to help the staff publish excellent articles and photography the high school of Prosper deserves for its great people, great environment and great curriculum. If you ever see him feel free to go up to him and talk to him, he loves meeting new people and going on new adventures.

A tin can rests abandoned alongside a railroad track in Mckinney. The area holds garbage, including plastics and metals, scattered across it for lengths almost as long as a mile. According to the Balance smb, many day-to-day items can take a long time to decompose. For example, metals like those in a tin can can take 50 years to decompose. Aluminum can take up to 500 years, and plastics can take up to twice that amount of time - 1,000 years. “It upsets me," junior photojournalist Brian Bock said. "Knowing the fact that some of the things humans use the most abundantly and frequently, are the same things that are destroying our planet's environment the most."

Environmental enthusiast and self-proclaimed hippie Matthew Addic listens to the harmonious sounds of birds mixed with the pacifying sounds of water flowing into the stream below.
