News Brief: Rock Hill to host ‘College Night’ for all PISD high schoolers
District offers opportunity to connect with universities, colleges, technical schools, military branches
On a tour of Dallas Baptist University, senior Gabriella Winans visits Pilgrim Chapel, the campus’ church. The chapel opened in 1878, and still holds service today. Dallas Baptist University will be attending PISD’s “College Night,” which will be hosted by Rock Hill Monday, Sept. 13, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

With the start of the school year, the district will hold a “College Night” at Rock Hill High School for students from both high schools Monday, Sept. 13, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
More than 115 individual colleges, universities, technical programs and military branches will attend the fair to connect with students and their parents. Programs will have interactive displays and information, along with representatives from each school standing by to answer questions. The Prosper Education Foundation also will provide scholarship information.

Before the fair, students can fill out their information online and bring their bar code for colleges to scan at the fair. Students can fill out their information here.
