This play was one of the extremely memorable moments of the game, and Rock Hill was given a face-mask penalty for the penalty. The school district displayed a drone show during the half-time show to mark the first annual game between the two schools.

Alongside Mason Belle-Isle, Clay helped put together Saturdays event that featured Prosper High coaches and athletes vs. Rock Hills. Donations and funds collected at the game will go to benefit the Prosper Education Foundation.

At Fridays game, Prosper players carried 15 American flags onto the field. Two of these flags represented the world trade centers lost on September 11, 2001, and 13 represented the 13 U.S. servicemen recently killed in Afghanistan.

On a tour of Dallas Baptist University, senior Gabriella Winans visits Pilgrim Chapel, the campus church. The chapel opened in 1878, and still holds service today. Dallas Baptist University will be attending PISDs College Night, which will be hosted by Rock Hill Monday, Sept. 13, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Jumping on the sideline, Jordyn Herrera cheers on her team after making their first goal of the season. Herrera is currently injured, but she supports her team by cheering the entire game. My favorite part was that first goal. Herrera said. We finally were able to break through the Rock Hill back line and score a very good goal. The excitement from the sidelines made it all even better.

The endzone screen at the PISD Childrens Health Stadium displays a sign celebrating the annual senior sunrise event. Seniors gathered early in the morning on Aug. 11 to watch the sunrise and start of the school year. Senior sunrise was a fun thing to go to before school started, senior Lauren Haullauer said. I got to see all my friends, and it was a great way to end the summer.

JP Wilson was hired only a few months ago as the first ever Director of Bands at the new Rock Hill High School. I was not expecting to get the position, Wilson said. I know there were over 100 very qualified candidates, so it would be tough, but I was confident that I could be a top contender for the position.
