After celebrating their banquet, the senior boys of the Water Polo team get together for a picture. In the picture are seniors Nathan Tang, Tyce Pierce, Shane Gorokhovsky, Hanna Lee, Nick Vargas, Kaiden MaGee. The banquet took place on Nov. 16. The last game was on Oct. 15 against Southlake.

As he looks at his laptop, DJ Jay Hall focuses on making the next selection for the pep rally. Hall is a DJ for hire at DFW Pro DJs. He made an appearance at the winter sports pep rally on Feb. 9.

Preparing for a debate tournament, junior Katya Kondragunta reads over speeches. The PHS Debate Team competed at the Jasper tournament on Friday, Feb. 2 and Saturday, Feb. 3. There will be a Speech and Debate interest and informational meeting on Monday, Feb. 5 in the RHHS cafeteria at 6:30 p.m.

In the PHS arena, winter and spring sports will be introduced at "Meet the Eagles." Doors open at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 8, and will begin at 6 p.m. Athletes from the baseball, wrestling, track, powerlifting, softball, basketball, golf and soccer teams will be introduced.

At the Prosper vs. Rockhill game on Jan. 2, head basketball coach Scott Imes performs a speech on sophomore and teammate Jaxson Little. Little is fighting leukemia, and Prosper has supported him with the hashtag #LittleStrong. The first 100 people at the Varsity Girls basketball game, and  the first 150 people at the Varsity Boys basketball game got a #LittleStrong shirt.

During the PHS volleyball game against Rockhill, head coach Ashlee McCormick directs a player. She was named Dallas- Forth-Worth All-Area Coach of the Year. She won this award alongside her player and senior Ayden Ames who was named DFW All-Area MVP of the Year.

A sendoff for the Prosper esports team was held Monday, Jan. 9. The team started competitions the same day. The team went to state and won the first round, currently advancing to the semi-finals.

Startled by the thunder, senior Tate Lauby, portraying the role of Mr. Green, is embarrassed after spitting his drink on sophomore Sophia Gomez, playing the role of Ms. Scarlet. 'Clue: On Stage' ran from Dec. 8-10. Every performance was sold out before opening night.

Student cooks, aka the Prosper Pitmasters, competed at the Southlake Regional Cook-Off on Saturday, Dec. 3 and came home with some wins. The following were taken by the Prosper team: Beans: 1st place call (Blue Ribbon), Chicken: 6th place call and Brisket: 1st place call (Blue Ribbon.) Based on the aggregate scoring the Prosper Pitmasters placed third overall with 21 teams competing.

While fans thrash together, lead singer and guitarist, Tyler Ross plays a solo from the song, ‘Flush’ from Laredo Two’s new EP ‘Poison’. Debuting the band's three new songs released Aug. 27, fans from all over the DFW area united together in Flower Mound for the band's biggest show yet at Thrash Fest Aug. 24. The trio will be playing at DV8 in Plano, Tx Dec. 11. “My favorite part of Laredo Two’s shows is the unity within the audience,'' photographer Gracie Archibeque said. “It truly feels like a big family”.
