Freshman Colton Boston, sophomore Christina Krasnova, junior Coleman Meier and sophomore William Norris hold their award. The audio/video trifecta of Eagle Nation News (ENN), PHS The Talon radio and Eagle Production Group (EPG) brought home multiple awards from the 2023 Student Television Network Conference. The conference was held in Long Beach, California.

  • The 2024 summer student trip for Berlin, Prague, Krakow and Budapest interest meeting will be held on March 30th in the LGI. To RSVP click here for the meeting as there are limited spots.
The Prosper National English Honor Society is accepting spring applicants. Sophomores, juniors and seniors can apply. Applications are due March 26 at 11:59 p.m. No late applications will be accepted. (NEHS society)
  • The PHS Cybersecurity team is holding its orientation on Tuesday, March 28 from 4:15 to 4:45 p.m.
  • The annual PISD Winter Guard Showcase will be held at Rock Hill High School in the Arena beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 22. The event is free of charge and all are welcome!

  • Calling all seniors who are 18 years old or will turn 18 by May 6: beginning Monday, March 27 through April 6, there will be volunteers and a deputy registrar outside the cafe from 1:30-3:00 that will help you get registered to VOTE! If you have early release and would like to register, please head to the PEagle to get registered any day between March 27 – April 6.
  • The Our Body Not Yours club will be having their March meeting on Wednesday, March 24 in the LGI. Join OBNY from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. to have fun and start a conversation.
  • If you are interested in running for sophomore, junior, or senior class officers please fill out the form. Forms are due March 23 at 4:00 p.m.

The Prosper High School audio/video trifecta of Eagle Nation News (ENN), PHS The Talon radio and Eagle Production Group (EPG) brought home the following awards from the 2023 Student Television Network Conference in Long Beach, California:

Broadcast Excellence—Silver (ENN)
Broadcast Excellence—Bronze (PHS The Talon Podcast)
Arts & Culture Package—Honorable Mention (ENN with Christina Krasnova, Coleman Meier, William Norris and Colton Boston)
Both of your Prosper Mighty Eagle Winter Guards had a strong showing at this past weekend’s WGI Dallas Regional. The Varsity Winter Guard placed 7th in their round. The Junior Varsity Team advanced to finals and was awarded first place in their classification at both the prelims and finals competition and named Regional Champion!

The Prosper Lady Eagles competed in the THSWPA State Powerlifting meet on Wednesday last week and walked away with 3 awards. McKenna Seaman finished in 4th place in the 148 lbs weight class, just five pounds away from 2nd. Ayjah Smith finished in 5th place in the 259+ class. Grace Aguilera finished in 9th place in the 165 lbs class. Stormie Stevens finished in 12th place in the 165 lbs class, and was awarded a $1,000 dollar scholarship by the THSWPA.

Ready, Set, Teach students Maddie Hall and Cheyenne Routh recently competed at the Texas Association of Future Educators State Conference and will be advancing to the Educators Rising National Conference being held in Orlando over the summer.
