"Me and Heather Davis have advisory together, therefore, while I was reading this book, I got to look over at her now and then, and ask, 'why do you like this book so much?'" said Greaves. With an influx of mass deportations and Australian wildfires, juniors Trisha Panicker and Aarushi Rana analyze how the toll of these events. "Controversy has been sparked by this issue (mass deportations) with as many as 18 states, including California, New Jersey, and Massachusetts, filing lawsuits claiming the order violates the U.S. Constitution," Panicker said. "The wait is until Feb. 6 to decide if this is permanent or not."

As he pins a dress, senior Garret Gray prepares an entry for a design competition. Tiffany Sanchez leads the Fashion Design classes at PHS. "This is our first time FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) has competed in quite some time, if ever," Sanchez said. "Next, state competition is April 11-13." In this program, four students ended up advancing to state.

To learn more about Richland High School, Eli Deutsch, Elizabeth Cohorn, and Srihitha Madepalli interviewed Dr. Lute Croy about the whole process of getting teachers for Richland High School. Dr. Croy gives insight to new things coming as well as keeping traditions. "We had a good interview," Deutsch said. "We asked a lot of questions, and he gave us good answers about the new high school."

Gabriella Winans was born in Athens, Ohio, and moved to Prosper, Texas in the summer of 2015. A current senior, this is her third year on staff. In her free time, Gabby enjoys writing, reading, watching TV and movies, hanging out with friends and family, and riding horses. She hopes to continue writing throughout high school, with the goal of publishing a novel one day.

Alyssa Clark is a senior, and this is her second year on staff. She was the social media director last year, and can't wait to direct the opinion page this year. In her free time, she can be found grabbing coffee with friends, or playing with her dogs. She plans on attending college after high school, and to major in psychology.

Jayden Conley, Sports Writer

Jayden Conley is a sports writer for Eagle Nation Online, and he is a Junior and this is his first year on the team. He moves around a lot living in many Dallas areas and then just previously moving from Frisco to now Prosper in his Sophomore year. He loves sports and loves writing and talking about a previous event. He finds joy in hanging out with his friends and watching any sports related content, whether it be professional or he and his friends just having fun.
