Hosts discuss their thoughts on Kanye Wests’ newest album

For this episode, hosts Chatelain and Victoria Byers reviewed and discussed Kanye (Ye) West’s latest album, “BULLY” Overall, the album was rated six and a half on the “Sound Spectrum” scale.

In the twelfth episode of season two of The Sound Spectrum, hosts senior Victoria Byers and sophomore Ethan Chatelain share their perspectives on American rapper and songwriter Ye, formerly known as Kanye West’s, twelfth album, “BULLY.”

The hosts discuss their overall thoughts on the album, favorite and least favorite songs and how they believe it ranks on the ‘sound spectrum.’ This podcast series focuses on reviewing a variety different music projects and music in general. In this episode, Byers and Chatelain discuss how the album was ranked, along with how they felt about the songs and how they were rated in contrast to the other pieces. Some of the songs mentioned is “KING,” “FATHER,” “ALL THE LOVE,” “MAMAS FAVORITE” and more. Next episode, the two plan on talking about American singer-songwriter Mitski’s eighth studio album “Nothing’s About to Happen to Me” with a special guest.

As shown in the graphic, podcast host Victoria Byers shows how the different albums or songs ranked on the ‘sound spectrum.’ “Thriller” is currently the highest ranked with a rating of 9. The next episode will cover and review “Nothing’s About to Happen to Me,” by American singer-songwriter Mitski. (Victoria Byers)

Senior Victoria Byers leads social media posts for Instagram, X (formally known as ‘Twitter’) and Facebook. This is her second year as a staff member, and she normally reports football games as a Mighty Eagle Band member. Sophomore Ethan Chatelain is back for his second year of being on the Eagle Nation Online Staff. He is super excited to see how this year will go. He spent all of his life in Texas, but moved to Prosper in 2020. When not writing articles, he is usually hanging out with his friends or making music.
