For episode two, sophomores Polly Greaves and Heather Davis meet at Prosper HS. They mention popular characters such as Cassie Sullivan, Ben Parish and Evan Walker. “Even though we have our strong opinions about this book,” Greaves said, “overall, I think I personally learned some things from it.”

In the second issue of season two, co-hosts, sophomores Heather Davis and Polly Greaves converse about the dystopian science fiction book, “The 5th Wave” by Rick Yancey. Davis and Greaves recognize their favorite characters, plot progression and the romantic aspects, devoid of major spoilers. It’s also available through The Raider Remark, Davis’ school newspaper.

Caps in the air, the class of 2026 celebrates their final moments as Prosper High School students. 755 students graduated this year. "It's kind of bittersweet," senior Jerrick Jeyasee Kamaraj Christopher said. "Yes, I'm excited to graduate, but I'm going to miss the community here at Prosper. But, there's so many new opportunities that are opening up, so I'm very excited to explore all of that."
Seniors celebrate 2026 graduation
The photos display aspects of senior Trisha Panicker's life, from journalism to debate to spending time with her friends. Panicker will be double majoring in politics and journalism in college. "I want to continue the work I was doing in Prosper, from covering locals to reporting on community events and traditions," Panicker said. "The joy and purpose that this gives me will hopefully motivate my future endeavors during my time in university."
Senior Column: How journalism changed my life
Sketching at a desk, Sapphire Vasquez works on a portrait. Sapphire Vasquez is a substitute teacher for art. "I've enjoyed (the different art) a lot because everybody has a different style, everybody wants different materials," Vasquez said. "They are creating things that they love on top of the things that they probably don't enjoy as much."

Beaming ahead, assistant Jimmy Frideley takes a break from his work. Frideley has been an AP for the past three years and at PHS for six. He taught social studies and special education before becoming an assistant principal.
Assistant principal focuses career on student advocacy
In a collage of photos, senior Aarushi Rana showcases her highschool memories. Rana has been on the newspaper team for two years. "Journalism has my heart," Rana said. "I have made some of my best memories in this room."
