Reading Time: < 1 minuteWhile moving around the school's Blackbox, theatre, sophomore officer Lauren Grammer and others collect candy from the snack table during the Theatre Department's Halloween Social on Wednesday, Oct. 28. This was the third social of the year, and the board of officers has plans to do more. "We are trying our best to see how we can bring people together currently and how the situation may change as time goes on," Grammer said. "The biggest thing is that we have to role with what happens and change as we go. Nothing is set in stone anymore, and things change last-minute all the time nowadays. It’s really just about playing it by ear and adjusting accordingly."
Celebrating Halloween, the theatre department held a social on Wednesday, Oct. 28. Students dressed in costumes, ate snacks, participated in contests, and won awards for their costumes. “It was cool to see everyone in costume, and I got to meet one new person,” sophomore Summer Riche said. “Personally, I thought it went well, even with COVID being a big issue. We socially distanced as best we could, and only had our masks down when we were eating. Overall, I had a great time and strongly urge anyone in the theatre department to come to a social this year.”
