Running toward the ball, sophomore Ava Germany dribbles past her opponent. It felt great to make it to state, Germany said. The games leading up were all games that had people biting their nails. It came down to the last minute in every playoff game it felt like. I think the biggest challenge our team faced during state was confidence. Everyone believed in us to win we just had to believe in ourselves and even with the result we got I believe we could have been more confident.

At the Prosper town hall, theatre officers from PHS, RHHS and WGHS stand with Fine Arts Director Tim Doyle and Mayor David Bristol after Theatre in Our Schools was proclaimed Feb. 27. TIOS is a national campaign to promote and spread awareness about the benefits of theatre education. Theatre in Our Schools Month is important because it raises awareness about the value of theatre education in schools, junior Annabelle Nugent said. It emphasizes the positive impact performing arts on students, promoting creativity, collaboration, and individuality.

In the Nest, senior Kaylyn Chung puts together Legos. There is a competition between the PISD high schools to donate toys to children for the holidays. The school of the most amount of Lego hearts built on their Lego wall will win.

In the PHS arena, senior Ayden Ames commits to UT Austin for D1 Volleyball on Signing Day. Ames switched her commitment from University of Nebraska to UT. The PHS Volleyball team qualified for the UIL State tournament.

In front of the fire station sign, Prosper Police Department Chief Doug Kowalski, junior Christina Krasnova, senior Parker Reynolds, junior Isabel Multer, senior Riley McConnell, Fire Department Assistant Chief Shaw Eft and Fire Department Chief Stuart Blasingame finish off the training hosted at the Childrens Health Stadium. Reporters from ENN and ENO got to attend the training for Prosper PD, FD, FBI, PISD and others. A slideshow and story will publish on the specifics of the mock event.

At the game against Mckinney Boyd High School, seniors Gretchen Teigen and Charlotte Walley stand on the sideline of the field dressed for the Pink Out theme. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Student Council honored PHS staff who overcame breast cancer by giving them gift baskets during the pep rally on Oct. 13.

Holding trophies, seniors Maxwell McCleary, Lauren Stein Maiya Oyakawa, Arjun Chati and junior Elianna Barger celebrate winning first place. The Prosper Marching Band placed first at the Plano East Marching Invitational held on Sept. 30. This year their band show name is Deep in the Heart of Texas.
