Up in the air, senior Devin Allen catches a practice throw. The Prosper Eagles are currently fourth in the Division 6A rankings and third in Division 1 rankings. Allen has been a game MVP multiple times throughout the season.

Leaning down to pick up trash, children participate in the interactive booth held at the Celebrate Prosper event on Oct. 4. This booth was called "Help Clean Our Waterways" and it is one of the many educational initiatives set up by Water Education Coordinator Lauren Kraus geared towards local residents. The next educational workshop is called "Turn Over a New Leaf: Kids Challenge!"   where children will learn sustainable water habits in the Prosper library on Nov. 7 at 11 a.m.

"This process ensures that new employees feel informed, prepared and confident as they begin the school year."

Looking at one of her students as they speak, Delaney Alford sits next to freshman Saanvi Vipin during their Hope Squad period. During this class, the group played the game ‘imposter’ to bond. “I think Hope Squad is such a good class and such a good program to not only teach [mental health awareness] to the kids that are in the class, but also to push that out to any and everybody else,” Alford said. “What better way for people to hear about it than from their peers?”

Over the weekend, the Eagle Band competed in the UIL Area J competition which was ranked 4th in all areas of judging and received 4th place overall. In UIL Area J, only the top 4 advance to state.The band will at state to state on Nov. 2-4. The band's prelims performance was at 5:30 p.m.
