With a little over 30 days left until graduation for the class of 2026, prom and senior activities approach along with different things for seniors to add to their checklist. Prom will occur on Saturday, May 2, while senior week will take place from Monday, May 11 to graduation day on Thursday, May 21.
Prom information
Continuing with the same venue, prom will be taking place at the Plano/Dallas Marriott starting at 7 p.m. for juniors and seniors. The ticket cost is $85 until Saturday, April 11 with it going up to $95 dollars until April 25, and $100 until Friday, May 1. If a student is interested in bringing a non-PHS date, they must fill out a form before buying tickets. On April 20, seniors will be able to vote for the next Prom King and Queen by April 23. The top nominees will be announced on Friday, April 24. The following week starting on Tuesday, April 28 juniors and seniors will be able to vote for the top nominees until Friday, May 1. If you plan to rule, remember to follow the rules.
Senior opportunities
To celebrate senior’s post-secondary plans, Prosper seniors are encouraged to fill out a google form including a photo of your student displaying their post-secondary plans and share details of their plans to be featured in the Senior Decision Day slide show on May 1st for national decision day. This form is due on Monday, April 27.
Seniors who are not currently in the National Honor Society but would like to join and have a GPA of 3.5 or above, can submit a student information form and character recommendation forms to be considered for entry. The written application is due Thursday, April 9 by 4:15 p.m. Forms returned after this deadline will not be considered by the faculty committee. Return forms to either Tiffany Ballard’s Room in 3103 or Candy Latiolais in room 2019. Seniors can check their email for more information.
Senior week information
Seniors won’t be able to participate in senior week until their forms are signed, school work is completed and a check in with your counselor. They must return Chromebooks and chargers to the technology department unless they have an AP test during or after senior week and graduation. Once all is completed, students will

receive a wristband to wear at all senior events.
Senior Powder Puff sign ups have started and are due on Friday, April 17. The tournament will take place on May 14 during the powder puff/field day during senior week. The game will be played in a seven vs. seven tournament style single elimination. You do not need to be in a team or have exactly seven players, however, everyone participating will have to fill out a form that includes all player information. More information about rules will be given at a captain meeting on April 21 during Eagle Time. There will also be Prosper’s first ever cornhole and ping pong tournament, both to occur on Friday, April 17. To participate, fill out the form here for ping pong, and here cornhole with your and your partner’s name and student ID. This will also take place on May 14, during senior week.
Seniors will have Senior Day at Andretti’s in the Colony on Wednesday, May 13. They must provide their own transportation. If they’d like to be bused to the event, they must fill out this form by May 2.
Graduation will occur at Children’s Health Stadium in Prosper on Thursday, May 21, at 8 a.m. Students must arrive at the school at 6:30 a.m. wearing their cap and gown to be bused to graduation. Parents and guests can’t reserve tickets, and they are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Seniors will not be bused back to the school. Graduation practice will occur Tuesday, May 19 and is required. If students do not attend practice, they will not be able to walk across the stage at graduation.
More information for seniors will continue to come out as the weeks come closer to graduation, with another senior meeting in early May. Seniors can look forward to an email containing more information about senior events.
