Prosper High School’s National Art Honors Society (NAHS) sponsor Tamra Armistead says that NAHS is all about pursuing art, media and being with like-minded people who are creative and intelligent. NAHS has requirements for students to have completed at least one semester of art, maintain a minimum “B” (or 3.0/85%) GPA in art classes and demonstrate strong character and interest in the visual arts. “(Art) does a lot,” Armistead said. “It’s a way to express yourself, to communicate with others, and to grow.”
