Hey, Eagle Nation!

Welcome to the Spring Edition of Eagle Nation Times for the 2025–2026 school year! As the weather warms up and we head into the final stretch of the year, our magazine is here to highlight the incredible talent and hard work taking place in “THE” Prosper High School. This issue is packed with stories that reflect our community’s creativity and drive, from a special focus on mental health with our guide on “5 Habits for a Healthier Mind,” to a look back at the PHS Theater’s magical production of “Into the Woods.”

We are also diving into the world of entertainment and technology. You’ll find a full rewind of the 68th Annual Grammy Awards and the latest winners & nominees from the Golden Globes, alongside a focus of student innovation right here on campus. We’re featuring the seniors who launched “Edgy,” a personalized AI chatbot created specifically for PHS students and staff, showing just how much our Eagles can achieve.

Finally, we’ve included plenty of sports and community news to keep you informed. From a preview of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and a spotlight on our soccer captain’s leadership, to student opinions on UT Austin admissions and Super Bowl commercials, there is something for everyone.

Senior Yousuf Ali leads the print magazine Eagle Nation Times. This is his second year on the ENO staff and his third year as a graphic design student. He loves to design and create new pieces while hoping to inspire others with them. He is excited to design and publish new magazines this year for everyone to read. Outside of school, he enjoys playing video games, watching movies and shows, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Trisha Panicker, ENO Editor-in-Chief

Trisha Panicker is a senior and this is her second year working for ENO, now as the Editor-in-Chief. She loves the town of Prosper and engages with the local community through her reporting. In addition, she is part of the PHS speech and debate team. In her free time, she enjoys going to coffee shops and reading.

Aarushi Rana, originally from Connecticut, is a senior at Prosper High School. This is her second year on Eagle Nation Online and she serves as the Multimedia Editor-in-Chief. In her free time, she enjoys photography, reading and watching movies. Through ENO, she hopes to enhance her community outreach. Tejas Konka, Chief Operating Officer

Junior Tejas Konka is from Los Angeles, California. His main goal for this year is to raise money for Eagle Nation Online and our sister publication, Eagle Nation Times, to allow staff to publish consistently. Tejas is looking forward to meeting new people and collaborating with others to improve the newspaper. His favorite hobbies include reading books and playing basketball with friends.

Kate Duncan, Feature Editor

Junior Kate Duncan performs her role at Eagle Nation Online as Feature Editor. This year officially marks her second on staff, and she is excited to see how the school year will play out. When she isn’t writing articles, Kate participates in other clubs like Breast Cancer Awareness Club as secretary and Key Club, and she enjoys reading, photography and spending time with the people close to her during her free time. Polly Greaves, News Editor

For her second year on the Eagle Nation Online staff, sophmore Polly Greaves directs the news section as news editor. When she’s not in the goal for varsity or junior varsity water polo, she spends her time writing a new novel, playing the piano, and capturing moments on her camera. Polly looks forward to recording more episodes of her podcast, The Story Guide, and improving her photography skills throughout this year.

Emily Logan, Design Editor

Emily is a senior at Prosper High School. This is her second year on staff, and she is designing our site. She was born in Missouri, but she’s lived in Texas for majority of her life. Outside of school Emily enjoys drawing, writing, watching movies, and baking. Quill and Scroll Honor Society Member

Michelle Ayala, Sports Editor

Michelle Ayala leads the sports section as the sports editor. This is her second year working for Eagle Nation online. As a sophomore at Prosper High School and originally from Frisco, Texas, she enjoys playing golf and pickleball, working out, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. She has earned the best of SNO for her feature article, “Senior overcomes injury, dives in to help water polo team,” and looks forward to improving her photography and writing skills while covering the athletes and games.

Victoria Byers, Social Media Director

Senior Victoria Byers leads social media posts for Instagram, X (formally known as ‘Twitter’) and Facebook. This is her second year as a staff member, and she normally reports football games as a Mighty Eagle Band member. As she continues to find more and more creative tasks, clubs and electives, she gets to finalize and lead in band, two clubs, along with joining three new organizations.

Sahasra Venkata Kandiboyina, ENT Copy Editor

Sahasra is a sophomore at Prosper High School. This is her first year working for Eagle Nation Online and Eagle Nation Times, and she is very excited for what’s coming next. She is a student in Musical Theatre and Choir. In her free time, Sahasra enjoys listening to music, catching up on new Netflix shows, and trying out new things.

Adnen Agoh, Graphic Designer

Adnen Agoh, a sophomore, enjoys drawing and graphic design. He started developing his skills in the area as long as as he can remember. This will be his first year on the ENO and ENT team. Adnen plans to use his software certifications to bring a visual impact to the publications.

Grace Suzuki, Graphic Designer

Grace Suzuki is a junior at Prosper High School. She likes video games and drawing, but primarily plays video games. This is her first year working as a graphic designer for the Eagle Nation team. She hopes that she can develop her visual design skills through Eagle Nation Online and Eagle Nation Times.

Johnathan Tristan, Graphic Designer

Johnathan Tristan is a sophomore at Prosper High. This is his first year on staff as a graphic designer for Eagle Nation Online. He enjoys photography, journalism and graphic design. He is a member of the Hope squad and finds interest in helping people. Outside of school, he plays the piano, cooks and listens to music.

Alexander Gutierrez, Graphic Designer

Sophomore Alexander Gutierrez is a Graphic Designer for Eagle Nation Online. This is his first year being on the ENO staff and his second year being a graphic designer. He was born in California and moved to Texas in June 2024. He loves to spend time with his family, play video games and create stunning graphics that inspire people to be creative and create something themselves.

Landon Byrom, Reporter

Landon is a senior and first year reporter on the ENO staff. In his free time he likes to watch baseball, go out with friends and, go to church. Landon is also apart of the schools broadcast team Eagle Nation News, and he is excited to collaborate between the two programs. Amelia Hamilton, Equipment Manager and Reporter

Amelia Hamilton is a first year Equipment Manager and Reporter for Eagle Nation Online. Amelia is originally from California and now lives in Texas. Outside of school, Amelia likes to ride dirt bikes and hang out with friends and family.

Palak Agarwalla, Reporter

Junior Palak Agarwalla serves her role at ENO as a reporter. She is looking forward to creating amazing and fun news to share to all, and she is so excited to face all the up-and-down loops of this year. Palak loves to dance and take interviews. Through Eagle Nation Online, she hopes to make more connections to the school and outside.

Ethan Chatelain, Reporter

Sophomore Ethan Chatelain is back for his second year of being on the Eagle Nation Online Staff. He is super excited to see how this year will go. He spent all of his life in Texas, but moved to Prosper in 2020. When not writing articles, he is usually hanging out with his friends or making music.

Elise Leavitt, Reporter

Elise Leavitt is a sophomore at Prosper High School. This is her first year on ENO staff, and she is excited to take the role of a reporter. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, baking for others and hanging out with her friends. She looks forward to her first year on ENO and improving her photography and journalism skills. She wants to learn more about writing through working for Eagle Nation Online.

Srinitha Arikati, Reporter

Senior Srinitha Arikati is a first year reporter for ENO. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends or watching movies with family. Through ENO, she hopes to work on her skills and get involved with the community more.
