With their newspaper on the board behind them, members of the staff of Eagle Nation Online and Eagle Nation Times showcase a message from Superintendent Holly Ferguson. These students met four times over the summer to meet each other, learn new journalistic skills and plan and prepare for the coming school year. Focused on students, Mayor David Bristol and Prosper ISD school board vice president Dena Dixon showcase their duties to the government classes. The students learned about the obstacles faced in the town council, and got more insight to Bristol's job. "The town facilities, the municipal services that we have, this is not normal," Bristol said. "People come to this area. In the last five years, a lot of you guys moved here for the school district, specifically.  Your parents brought you here so you can go to the ISD. That is not the same. There are not people clamoring to go to some of this districts to the south of us. So, we have something unique and special here, and I want to continue that."
Mayor encourages students to get involved in community
Playing a crucial role in the logistics of Civic Leaders of America, Texas Chief of Staff senior Mara Gonzalez Moral addresses the room with confidence. CLA is an entirely student-led organization with the mission of fostering civic engagement among high schoolers through regular debates, local conventions, information about current events, activism and volunteering opportunities. "Being a part of CLA has truly been the most rewarding activity of my high school years," Moral said. "I hope that if you join as well, you will find that you experience can be just as incredible."
Empowering future leaders
Waiting to check donators in, HOSA members work the blood drive they hosted before Thanksgiving break. The blood drive was located in Gym 1 and took place Nov. 21. "(The blood drive) allows people to donate blood for those who really need it, and so it's a really great thing that so many people come out and donate blood in order to help others," senior HOSA member Lily Lopez said. "It is really crucial for them."
HOSA fosters support in community
Rooted in the ground, students team up to plant the Prosper Moon Tree. The Moon Tree was planted on Nov. 15. "Building the tree from NASA is very inspiring," sophomore Brody Ham said. "It opens our minds to how life is."

In a choreographed fight scene, members of the Varsity Musical class playing workers lift senior Aiden Hansen into the air. Prosper Theatre put on "Hadestown: Teen Edition" six times, on Oct. 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, and 26.

Climbing down the stairs, Donald "Skip" Phipps walks out of his bus. He drives bus 116-D. "I've had some times, driving for other places, when students, students weren't the nicest," Phipps said. "But, (since he's worked with students in Prosper), I just, I just enjoy driving the bus."

Just before eating lunch, PCIS 1 student senior Muhammed Njie listens to a speaker during the PCIS symposium at the National Toyota Headquarters. This year, Prosper High School offered PCIS 1 and PCIS 2 for returning seniors. The program is meant to help students improve their networking and interpersonal skills.

Shaking hands, junior Khloe Roan celebrates her two Talonette teachers, Ashley Sharp and Colleen Hunt. Roan has been a Talonette for three years at Prosper. "I truly could not pick between these wonderful ladies no matter how hard I tried," Roan said. "They've done so much for me, whether it was helping me grow as a leader and eventually into a dance officer, being people to put down as references when I applied for a job or being some of the first people to cheer for me after getting the job."

Standing together, Prosper paramedics and attendees engage in conversation before the meeting starts. These paramedics were invited to the meeting to receive the Life Saving Award as they played a vital role in saving Dr. Greg Bradley's life.

On Dec. 10, Max Preps ranked the boys varsity basketball team as No. 13 in Texas and No. 4 in the region. Prosper Varsity 'sweeps' crosstown rivals
Hooked up to the machine that collects your blood, senior Nicole Rendon waits as her blood is drawn. The blood drive was hosted by HOSA where they partnered with Carter Blood Care. “Honestly, I’ve never (donated blood) before, and I wanted to try it, and plus you get a chord too if you donate twice,” Rendon said. “I was nervous at first, but honestly it wasn’t that bad.”

Hands clapping, senior Branson Reeves gets the crowd loud. Prosper is currently ranked 21st in the state. "My goal for the rest of the season is to get at least one more touchdown," Reeves said. "I also want us to get through the playoffs at least through the third round."

Sofia Ayala, Eagle Nation Online Editor-in-Chief
Senior Sofia Ayala leads Eagle Nation Online as Editor-in-Chief. This is her fourth year working for Eagle Nation Online. She served as Assistant Editor for Eagle Nation Times and served as the Feature Editor in the past. Sofia is part of the varsity PHS Talonettes drill team where she enjoys dancing with her team. Outside of school, she loves going out on runs, reading, and listening to music.

Jake Radcliffe
Jake Radcliffe, Chief Executive Officer
Chief Executive Officer senior Jake Radcliffe leads the newspaper to success through writing and teamwork. This marks his third year as a staff member of Eagle Nation Online. Radcliffe is also a member of the Chamber and A Cappella choirs and the vice president of the Asian Student Association. Outside of school, he enjoys singing, reading, hanging out with friends, playing video games and being outdoors. This year, Radcliffe aims to expand ENO and ENT's marketing, grow his journalistic skills and prepare the staff for next year when he won't be here.
Erica Deutsch
Erica Deutsch, Multimedia Editor-in-Chief
Senior Erica Deutsch leads the Multi-Media section of the newspaper. This is her third year working for Eagle Nation Online. She adores photography and hopes to create a positive impact with her writing and podcasts. She is excited to publish video packages and continue sharing the powerful stories of others. Outside of school, she enjoys playing guitar, watching movies, trying new baking recipes, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Anisha Mandem
Anisha Mandem, Eagle Nation Times Editor-in-Chief
Anisha is a senior, and this is her fourth year on ENO. She is the Editor-in-Chief for Eagle Nation Times.  Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, she moved to Texas at the end of 2021 and leads the newspaper as a writer, editor, videographer, photographer, and podcaster. She is also the founder and president of the non-profit NeuroNext Foundation and the PHS Model UN team and is a part of SNHS. Outside of school, she enjoys playing the piano, running, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Elizabeth Cohorn
Elizabeth Cohorn, Reporter
Sophomore Elizabeth Cohorn can be found dancing as a line member of the Prosper Talonettes Drill Team, completing her annual goal of reading 150 books, baking, and listening to music. This is her first year working on Eagle Nation Online as a reporter, and joined ENO because of her passion for writing. Her love for writing started in third grade with her first short story titled "Kindness Counts" and as a member of the staff, she is most excited about writing feature articles.
Isabel Multer
Isabel Multer, Sports Editor
Coming from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Isabel Multer is a senior at Prosper High School entering her third year on Eagle Nation Online. Isabel is also the Producer for Prosper High School's broadcast program, Eagle Nation News and outside of school she loves spending time with friends and family. Ethan Chatelain is a major Professional Wrestling fan, and could probably tell you everything you want to know about the industry. He wants to convey stories through his photos and deliver unfiltered, honest news. Ethan is looking forward to having fun on the newspaper, as well as making sure his teammates are enjoying their time on staff as well.

Michelle Ayala can be found cheering on her dance team, as well as attending all kinds of school events. She is a freshman at Prosper High School. This is her first year on staff as a reporter. She is originally from Frisco, Texas. During her free time, Michelle spends time dancing on the Eaglettes JV drill team. She also has received an award from Best of SNO on her "Senior overcomes injury, dives in to help water polo team" feature article. She also loves going on runs, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. During her time on the newspaper she hopes to improve her photography skills, and writing.
Emily Logan
Emily Logan, Lead Graphic Designer
Emily is a junior at Prosper High School. This is going to be her first year on staff working closely with Eagle Nation Times, and design on our site. She was born in Missouri, but she’s lived in Texas for majority of her life. Outside of school Emily enjoys drawing, writing, watching movies, and baking.
Eli Deutsch
Eli Deutsch, Reporter
A new staff member of Eagle Nation Online, freshman Eli Deutsch will be covering sports and other stories. You can find him playing baseball or hanging out with his friends. This year is Eli's first year as apart of the Eagle nation online newspaper team. He is excited to start working on stories and articles for eagle nation online. Eli also wants to also take photos and cover sporting events for the school.
Max Allen
Max Allen, Reporter
A new member of Eagle Nation Online, Freshman Max Allen will be a reporter for ENO. You can find him playing football or hanging out with his friends. This is his first year on the ENO staff and he is very excited to start working on articles for Eagle Nation Online.
Gracie Patterson
Gracie Patterson, Fashion reporter
Gracie Patterson. This marks her 1st year in ENO as a sophomore. Along with the class, she hopes to collaborate with her classmates and work better by herself. Outside of school, she enjoys fashion and design. She likes to read and write and deeply wants to pursue photography/journalism once she gets to college. As she gets home and over the weekends, she likes to sleep, play video games, listen to music, and hang out with her brother, as well as go downtown with her mom and explore the different places of the world and the diversity of the people amongst her.
Srihitha Madepalli
Srihitha Madepalli, Reporter
Srihitha Madepalli, originally from Frisco, Texas, is a sophomore at Prosper High School. This is her second year working for Eagle Nation Online, serving as a reporter. Outside of school, she loves to listen to music, dance, and hang out with friends and family. She hopes to expand her knowledge and skills of writing and photography through ENO.

Senior Justin Wang can be found writing for Eagle Nations Online, serving as a reporter. This is Justin's second year on staff. Besides publishing for the school's newspaper, he loves mathematics, computer science, and wants to learn more about writing through working for Eagle Nation Online.

In his first year working with Eagle Nation Times and Eagle Nation Online, Yousuf Ali is a junior, and this marks his his third year as a graphic design student. He aims to sharpen his skills not only in design, but as a member of a team and help those around him improve too. Outside of school Yousuf, likes to draw, play sports and video games and binge watch tv shows.

Sophomore Kate Duncan spends her free time creating, whether it's a clay pot or a news article. Her passion for creativity led her to join the team, where she is excited to be able to bring new stories to light. This is her first year working on Eagle Nation Online as a reporter. When she isn't in school, Kate enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and making collages in her journal.

Zane is a senior at Prosper High School. It's his third year as a graphic designer, but his first year on ENO.
Will Ligon
Will Ligon, Podcast Director
Will Ligon brings creativity to Eagle Nation Online through his podcasts. He is a senior at Prosper high school, and this is his second year on staff. He is in marching band and plays the trumpet. Will works as a freelance voiceover/voice actor. He made his first podcast, "The Memory Space," his sophomore year. After high school he wants to go to DBU and major in Communications, or Cybersecurity.

Trisha Panicker is a junior and this is her first year as a reporter for ENO. She takes interest in politics and current events and hopes to express this through her writing. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her dog, Rusty, and playing the viola.
