With their newspaper on the board behind them, members of the staff of Eagle Nation Online and Eagle Nation Times showcase a message from Superintendent Holly Ferguson. These students met four times over the summer to meet each other, learn new journalistic skills and plan and prepare for the coming school year. Looking at one of her students as they speak, Delaney Alford sits next to freshman Saanvi Vipin during their Hope Squad period. During this class, the group played the game ‘imposter’ to bond. “I think Hope Squad is such a good class and such a good program to not only teach [mental health awareness] to the kids that are in the class, but also to push that out to any and everybody else,” Alford said. “What better way for people to hear about it than from their peers?”

Sitting at her computer, she ensures that schedules, paperwork, and communications are ready for coaches and students. This essential preparation is key to the smooth operation of all daily athletic activities.
Sports secretary keeps athletic department 'running smoothly'
Analyzing the measurement, seniors Aryan Kammili and Abyudh Mukkavilli look deeper into what the numbers show. Physics teacher John Mitchell had his class use their findings to answer an essential question written on the board. "It would be a great opportunity to take physics," senior Emily Zhang said. "I know a lot off other schools don't have this class, but our school has it."

Through a graphic designed in Pixlr by sophomore Ethan Chatelain with a photograph of Daniel Caesar, credits to Republic Records, the aspects of the second episode of the fourth season of The Sound Spectrum are presented. For this episode, hosts Chatelain and senior Victoria Byers reviewed and discussed Daniel Caesar's new album, “Son Of Spergy.” Overall, the album was rated a six on the ‘sound spectrum’ scale.

As he dodges a player, senior Lathon Latolais approaches the Prosper 10 yard line. Latolais is the wide receiver for the varsity football team. The game took place in the Children's Health Stadium.
Prosper football advances to playoffs after senior night win
Walking to the whistle, senior Abigael (Abby) Dodson moves alongside with her 'boot buddy'. The last district game took place on Nov. 6 with the theme being neon and senior night. "As a senior talonette it was a very bittersweet feeling having my last district game this season," Dodson said. "I had an amazing four years of Friday night lights. I am gonna miss dancing on the field with my team but I will take the memories with me forever."
Eagle Brief: Nov. 10 – 15
Demonstrating a step on how to build a water barrel, Texas Water Resources Institute Program Specialist Dean Minchillo leads the Barrel Up workshop that was held at the Prosper library on Oct. 6. Rain barrels are used to capture rainwater for households to use towards watering gardens and rinsing tools. A raffle was held in which the winner got to take home a rain barrel that was made during the workshop.

Looking towards the crowd, junior Madden Christensen walks to the band for the alma mater. The game ended in a 30-31 score, with the Eagles taking their first loss of the season. The Eagles will next take on Princeton High School at 7 p.m.
Prosper football hangs on until final whistle
Getting together in a group, Principal Paige Trujillo and the Prosper guard team take a photo in their costumes. The guard will start their winter auditions in November. "At first, I thought I'd be the only one dressed up, with a blue face as (an) Avatar," junior Aaliyah Caldwell said. "Yet, when I walked in the school and saw all the other costumes, I didn't feel as nervous."
Fright night pep rally 'unleashes' school spirit
Practicing his passes, senior Jason Miller Jr. throws the ball towards a teammate. Miller is a cornerback and wide receiver for the varsity football team. The Prosper football team is one of the few undefeated schools in Texas with 6 wins overall.
Eagles take home win before four-day weekend
Hand on their shoulder, junior Bayley Smith hugs her family member after the race. Smith has run all three years of high school and says she wants to pursue the sport in college. "I just felt really happy with my time," Smith said. "I thought I did pretty good for my team, or as best as I could, and I'm just happy we can go to regionals."
Cross country competes at District 6-6A, moves on to region championship
Jumping in the air, junior Sofia Winter grabs the ball from her opponents hand. On Friday, the team played against McKinney Boyd, ultimately being defeated 3-1. The Eagles were coming off of a recent win against Princeton the week before.
Varsity volleyball loses against McKinney Boyd after previous win
Dancing to the music, Keri Sharkey laughs with her son. The event took place on Saturday, Oct. 4. "This is actually our first time coming to a Prosper event," Sharkey said. "The bouncy houses and petting zoo were definitely our favorite."

Sofia Ayala, Eagle Nation Online Editor-in-Chief
Senior Sofia Ayala leads Eagle Nation Online as Editor-in-Chief. This is her fourth year working for Eagle Nation Online. She served as Assistant Editor for Eagle Nation Times and served as the Feature Editor in the past. Sofia is part of the varsity PHS Talonettes drill team where she enjoys dancing with her team. Outside of school, she loves going out on runs, reading, and listening to music.

Jake Radcliffe
Jake Radcliffe, Chief Executive Officer
Chief Executive Officer senior Jake Radcliffe leads the newspaper to success through writing and teamwork. This marks his third year as a staff member of Eagle Nation Online. Radcliffe is also a member of the Chamber and A Cappella choirs and the vice president of the Asian Student Association. Outside of school, he enjoys singing, reading, hanging out with friends, playing video games and being outdoors. This year, Radcliffe aims to expand ENO and ENT’s marketing, grow his journalistic skills and prepare the staff for next year when he won’t be here.
Erica Deutsch
Erica Deutsch, Multimedia Editor-in-Chief
Senior Erica Deutsch leads the Multi-Media section of the newspaper. This is her third year working for Eagle Nation Online. She adores photography and hopes to create a positive impact with her writing and podcasts. She is excited to publish video packages and continue sharing the powerful stories of others. Outside of school, she enjoys playing guitar, watching movies, trying new baking recipes, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Anisha Mandem
Anisha Mandem, Eagle Nation Times Editor-in-Chief
Anisha is a senior, and this is her fourth year on ENO. She is the Editor-in-Chief for Eagle Nation Times.  Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, she moved to Texas at the end of 2021 and leads the newspaper as a writer, editor, videographer, photographer, and podcaster. She is also the founder and president of the non-profit NeuroNext Foundation and the PHS Model UN team and is a part of SNHS. Outside of school, she enjoys playing the piano, running, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Elizabeth Cohorn
Elizabeth Cohorn, Reporter
Sophomore Elizabeth Cohorn can be found dancing as a line member of the Prosper Talonettes Drill Team, completing her annual goal of reading 150 books, baking, and listening to music. This is her first year working on Eagle Nation Online as a reporter, and joined ENO because of her passion for writing. Her love for writing started in third grade with her first short story titled “Kindness Counts” and as a member of the staff, she is most excited about writing feature articles.
Isabel Multer
Isabel Multer, Sports Editor
Coming from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Isabel Multer is a senior at Prosper High School entering her third year on Eagle Nation Online. Isabel is also the Producer for Prosper High School’s broadcast program, Eagle Nation News and outside of school she loves spending time with friends and family. Sophomore Ethan Chatelain is back for his second year of being on the Eagle Nation Online Staff. He is super excited to see how this year will go. He spent all of his life in Texas, but moved to Prosper in 2020. When not writing articles, he is usually hanging out with his friends or making music.
Michelle Ayala
Michelle Ayala, Sports Editor
Michelle Ayala leads the sports section as the sports editor. This is her second year working for Eagle Nation online. As a sophomore at Prosper High School and originally from Frisco, Texas, she enjoys playing golf and pickleball, working out, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. She has earned the best of SNO for her feature article, “Senior overcomes injury, dives in to help water polo team,” and looks forward to improving her photography and writing skills while covering the athletes and games.
Emily Logan
Emily Logan, Design Editor
Emily is a senior at Prosper High School. This is her second year on staff, and she is designing our site. She was born in Missouri, but she’s lived in Texas for majority of her life. Eli Deutsch

A new staff member of Eagle Nation Online, freshman Eli Deutsch will be covering sports and other stories. You can find him playing baseball or hanging out with his friends. This year is Eli’s first year as apart of the Eagle nation online newspaper team. He is excited to start working on stories and articles for eagle nation online. Eli also wants to also take photos and cover sporting events for the school.
Max Allen
Max Allen, Reporter
A new member of Eagle Nation Online, Freshman Max Allen will be a reporter for ENO. You can find him playing football or hanging out with his friends. This is his first year on the ENO staff and he is very excited to start working on articles for Eagle Nation Online.
Gracie Patterson
Gracie Patterson, Fashion reporter
Gracie Patterson. This marks her 1st year in ENO as a sophomore. Along with the class, she hopes to collaborate with her classmates and work better by herself. Outside of school, she enjoys fashion and design. She likes to read and write and deeply wants to pursue photography/journalism once she gets to college. As she gets home and over the weekends, she likes to sleep, play video games, listen to music, and hang out with her brother, as well as go downtown with her mom and explore the different places of the world and the diversity of the people amongst her.
Srihitha Madepalli
Srihitha Madepalli, Reporter
Srihitha Madepalli, originally from Frisco, Texas, is a sophomore at Prosper High School. This is her second year working for Eagle Nation Online, serving as a reporter. Outside of school, she loves to listen to music, dance, and hang out with friends and family. She hopes to expand her knowledge and skills of writing and photography through ENO.

Senior Justin Wang can be found writing for Eagle Nations Online, serving as a reporter. This is Justin’s second year on staff. Besides publishing for the school’s newspaper, he loves mathematics, computer science, and wants to learn more about writing through working for Eagle Nation Online.
Yousuf Ali
Yousuf Ali, ENT Editor-in-Chief

Senior Yousuf Ali leads the print magazine Eagle Nation Times. This is his second year on the ENO staff and his third year as a graphic design student. He loves to design and create new pieces while hoping to inspire others with them. He is excited to design and publish new magazines this year for everyone to read. Outside of school, he enjoys playing video games, watching movies and shows, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Junior Kate Duncan performs her role at Eagle Nation Online as Feature Editor. This year officially marks her second on staff, and she is excited to see how the school year will play out. When she isn’t writing articles, Kate participates in other clubs like Breast Cancer Awareness Club as secretary and Key Club, and she enjoys reading, photography and spending time with the people close to her during her free time. Will Ligon brings creativity to Eagle Nation Online through his podcasts. He is a senior at Prosper high school, and this is his second year on staff. He is in marching band and plays the trumpet. He made his first podcast, “The Memory Space,” his sophomore year. After high school he wants to go to DBU and major in Communications.
Trisha Panicker
Trisha Panicker, ENO Editor-in-Chief
Trisha Panicker is a senior and this is her second year working for ENO. She is the Editor-in-Chief. She loves the town of Prosper and engages with the local community through her reporting. In addition, she is part of the PHS speech and debate team. In her free time, she enjoys going to coffee shops and reading.
