Sophomore Elizabeth Cohorn can be found dancing as a line member of the Prosper Talonettes Drill Team, completing her annual goal of reading 150 books, baking, and listening to music. This is her first year working on Eagle Nation Online as a reporter, and joined ENO because of her passion for writing. Her love for writing started in third grade with her first short story titled “Kindness Counts” and as a member of the staff, she is most excited about writing feature articles.

Because she said she likes them colorful and bright, sophomore Kendall McLachlin surrounds herself with her Converses. Her collection began 10 years ago. "I like (my Chuck Taylors) to all be the same style, just different colors," McLachlin said. "So that's usually the (shoe) I go to."

Together for the first time after tryouts, the JV Eaglettes gather together for a team picture at the annual "Made It Meeting." Seen in the photo, from left to right, are freshman Skyler Dickerman, sophomore Kaitlyn Anderson, freshmen Michelle Sexton, Leah Lopez, Raileigh Mclain, Libby Allen, Elise Leavitt, Lexie Bergeron, Carly Jacobs, assistant jv director Ashley Sharp, freshmen Michelle Ayala, Ella Crist, Kylie Dreyer, Haylee Young, Bree Smith, and head coach Colleen Hunt. The team tried out this past March and ended up with 14 girls on the team. "I went into tryouts with an open mind by selecting both Talonettes and JV on my tryout paperwork," freshman Eaglette Leah Lopez said. "With that being said, I ended up making JV and was so happy and grateful."
