Poms out, senior Haylee Alexander cheers towards the crowd. The Cheerabilities program, a cheer team for special need students, joined the team on the sidelines at Friday's game. "My favorite part of Friday's game was definitely helping with Cheerabilities," Alexander said. "I love those girls and they just make our games so much better."

At the game against Mckinney Boyd High School, seniors Gretchen Teigen and Charlotte Walley stand on the sideline of the field dressed for the 'Pink Out' theme. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Student Council honored PHS staff who overcame breast cancer by giving them gift baskets during the pep rally on Oct. 13.

Holding trophies, seniors Maxwell McCleary, Lauren Stein Maiya Oyakawa, Arjun Chati and junior Elianna Barger celebrate winning first place. The Prosper Marching Band placed first at the Plano East Marching Invitational held on Sept. 30. This year their band show name is "Deep in the Heart of Texas."

In their Talonettes uniforms, sophomores Abigail McGregor and Katie Lynn stand with the band at the Rockwall football game. McGregor and Lynn sit and play with the band during the game but perform with the Talonettes during halftime. The Prosper football team lost this non-district matchup, 47-41.

As his name is announced, senior Parker Browning celebrates winning homecoming king with his mom Jennifer Browning. Browning won king with senior queen Brianna Marler. Browning is on the varsity football team and Marler is the captain of the Talonettes drill team. More homecoming photos will publish tomorrow, too.
