Sophomore Kylie York is a reporter for Eagle Nation Online, she was born in San Antonio, Texas and moved to Prosper, Texas in 2015 with her mom, dad, and her 2 older siblings. She learned she had a passion for writing her freshman year in her Journalism I class. She enjoys her after school Sports Medicine program and dance.

Wrapped in a blanket, sophomore Kylie York sits watching "Mulan." York reviewed the highly-anticipated network release by Disney. "I highly recommend getting Disney+," York said. "It brought back tons of memories, and it’s a great source of entertainment when sitting at home by yourself or with friends. It’ll also introduce you to some good new shows you never knew about."

"Even if learning about sports medicine or anything medical-related isn’t an interest or hobby of yours, I still recommend giving it a try." York said. "Student athletic trainers are students who attend games, make sure all players have water, wrap ankles and wrists to prevent injury, and look out for the players overall health and safety."

The boys and girls cross country teams sat together during a team dinner while tailgating prior to the football game against Timber Creek. Their season started in August and wraps up with a final meet in November. The runners practice every morning at 6 a.m. "It's rewarding coming to practice so early because I get to appreciate everything I have around me when I wake up that early," senior Victoria Carpenter said. "Seeing others excited to run makes me feel so happy, and it's a great start to my day."
