"I love Downtown McKinney during the holidays," Duncan said. "The energy of the town is so nice. I love visiting with my mom during any time of the year."
ENO staff shares winter break moments
Shaking hands, junior Khloe Roan celebrates her two Talonette teachers, Ashley Sharp and Colleen Hunt. Roan has been a Talonette for three years at Prosper. "I truly could not pick between these wonderful ladies no matter how hard I tried," Roan said. "They've done so much for me, whether it was helping me grow as a leader and eventually into a dance officer, being people to put down as references when I applied for a job or being some of the first people to cheer for me after getting the job."
Junior class ring ceremony celebrates educators
Standing together, Prosper paramedics and attendees engage in conversation before the meeting starts. These paramedics were invited to the meeting to receive the Life Saving Award as they played a vital role in saving Dr. Greg Bradley's life.

As he looks out to the field, Coach Mario Ramirez reflects. This is his first year as the head coach for the varsity boys soccer team. "It has been a great experience," he said. "I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with each one of them."

With his hands holding the ball above his head, junior J'Den Shields prepares to shoot a free throw. On Dec. 10, Max Preps ranked the boys varsity basketball team as No. 13 in Texas and No. 4 in the region. Head Coach Scott Imes leads the boys varsity team along with assistant coaches Ryan Lamberson, Gabe Owens, and Matthew Alford.
Prosper Varsity 'sweeps' crosstown rivals
Feet on the free-throw line, junior J'Den Shields gets ready to take a shot. Shields hit 1,000 career points during the teams' game against Frisco Memorial on Nov. 19. In that non-district match-up, Shields contributed 37 points to the Eagles' 85-72 win.
Basketball prepares for rivalry match-ups
Ball tucked, senior Leo Anguiano rushes for a first down. Prosper is undefeated in district and ranks 19th in the state of Texas. "Fridays game was definitely a tough one," Anguiano said. "I’m mostly proud of the way we handled adversity as a team. We showed that we don’t back down from a fight. In close games we’ll find a way to win and that’s gonna come in handy this week against Allen."
Football season: Trust, trials and triumphs
Standing in green Malcom Hill continues his passion for football as a coach. This marks his second year working for Prosper High School. "I kind of fell in love with the sport in middle school," Hill said. "Played it throughout high school and up until college.” 
Malcolm Hill brings faith to the field
Hands clapping, senior Branson Reeves gets the crowd loud. Prosper is currently ranked 21st in the state. "My goal for the rest of the season is to get at least one more touchdown," Reeves said. "I also want us to get through the playoffs at least through the third round."

Senior Erica Deutsch leads the Multi-Media section of the newspaper. This is her third year working for Eagle Nation Online. She adores photography and hopes to create a positive impact with her writing and podcasts. She is excited to publish video packages and continue sharing the powerful stories of others.
