Podcast: All in My Mind – Friendship

Hosts give perspectives on building relationships

Mid-conversation, seniors Sofia Ayala and Erica Deutsch discuss friendship for their third podcast episode of “All in My Mind.” “We hope to give people some clarity and share some of our perspectives when it comes to making friends,” Deutsch said. “It’s not always easy making new friends and building new friendships, but once you find those friends, you’ll never want to lose them.”

In their third episode of their podcast, “All in My Mind,” seniors Sofia Ayala and Erica Deutsch discuss finding lasting and supportive friendships and staying true to yourself in the process of finding friends. Through their podcast, they hope to bring awareness and leave a positive impact by discussing topics related to mental health. “Finding good friends that you can count and trust on can be difficult,” Deutsch said. “Some friendships just aren’t meant to be, and that’s okay. I believe that when you are put in the waiting period, whether it be trying to find good friends or anything else that may come in life, it is for a reason. You shouldn’t have to change yourself to make friends. Good people will come to you when the time is right.”

Senior Erica Deutsch leads the Multi-Media section of the newspaper. This is her third year working for Eagle Nation Online. She adores photography and hopes to create a positive impact with her writing and podcasts. She is excited to publish video packages and continue sharing the powerful stories of others. Outside of school, she enjoys playing guitar, watching movies, trying new baking recipes, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Sofia Ayala, Eagle Nation Online Editor-in-Chief

Senior Sofia Ayala leads Eagle Nation Online as editor-in-chief. This is her fourth year working for Eagle Nation Online. She served as Assistant Editor for Eagle Nation Times, and served as the Feature editor in the past. Sofia is part of the varsity PHS Talonettes drill team where she enjoys dancing with her team. Outside of school, she loves going out on runs, reading, and listening to music.
