The Prosper Eagles took on the Denton Guyer Wildcats Sept. 15, securing their third district win for the season. The battle broke the Wildcat’s six-game winning streak against the Eagles, resulting in a huge field rush, started by the student section. Both teams fought their hardest in the ‘FNL’ of the week. The team took the next week to carefully prepare to take on Rock Hill High School. Known as the ‘Battle of the Birds’, the matchup between Prosper teams resulted in another Prosper High School win, 34-28, despite the strong efforts made by the Blue Hawks in the first half.
