Mark Chrissan was born in Escondido, California moved to Prosper in 2019. As a current senior, this is his first year on staff. In his free time he enjoys graphic design, hanging out with friends and playing video games. After school, he plans to become a professional graphic designer and one day hopes to own his own graphic design company.

Displaying the school board's decision, the graphic explains the face mask policy for the 2021-2022 school year. The district announced April 19 that face masks will be optional for students and staff in the coming school year. “Personally, I think it’s great that they made masks optional because hopefully by that time everyone will be vaccinated if they’re able to,” junior Alyssa Clark said. “By making masks optional, people can choose the decision that works best for their lifestyle.”

Reish is a student spirit leader this year, and an ambassador for students who transferred to Prosper in January. "We had a bigger turn out than I expected," Reish said. A podcast graphic made my senior graphic designer Mark Chrissan introduces a new podcast by freshman reporter Lily Oxley who interviewed Principal John Burdett. Oxley and Burdett talked and recorded the podcast on Dec. 17. "Our goal is to make this the most incredible learning experience and place for you to come," Burdett said. "We want our students to explore their passions and try to figure out their niche in life and what it is their interests are."

"Holocaust Remembrance Week" will be held Jan. 25- 27.
