The Prosper Eagles and Richardson Berkner will face off tomorrow Friday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. at Mustang-Panther Stadium in Grapevine for their final match-up before Thanksgiving break.
Prosper will enter the game with a strong season behind them, showing steady improvement in both offensive and defensive consistency. Throughout the year, the Eagles have leaned on their physicality and depth, gaining momentum each week.
Last week, Prosper defeated Hebron High School 66-39, controlling much of the game with an efficient offense and a defense that tightened up after the first quarter. The win continued Prosper’s momentum, with the Eagles putting up 66 points and holding Hebron to 39, including outscoring them 35-14 in the second half.
Earlier in the season, Prosper showcased strong performances in the second half of several games, contributing to their current record of 10-1. The coaching staff has shared that they emphasize discipline, physicality, and limiting mistakes in their approach of game-play.

“I am very excited to get out there,” senior, defensive end, outside linebacker Devin Allen said. “And get one step closer to a state championship.”
Berkner comes into the game with a 7‑3 record and 5‑2 in District 7‑6A. In their last match, they beat Richardson Pearce 49‑21 and had three turnovers on defense. The Rams have scored around 27 points per game this season as they prepare to play Prosper.
Both teams are expected to bring high energy as they take the field, with Prosper aiming to extend its strong run while Berkner looks to pull off a statement win. Fans from both schools are expected to pack the stands at Mustang-Panther Stadium for the Friday night matchup.
“I trust all the guys on the team,” senior, offensive lineman Zaden Krempin said. “And wouldn’t rather play the game with anyone else.”
