If you’re a student here at PHS, you’re likely stressed about a couple of things: SAT/ACT prep, college admissions and studying for important exams are a couple of examples.
However, something students aged 16 and older start to worry about is entirely unrelated to schoolwork – this time, it’s about earning an income.
As school years pass, independence is gradually earned. This newfound freedom comes with a cost though – literally. Gas payments after getting a driver’s license, applying to scholarships to relieve the amount of money spent on future education, and paying the average college application fees of $50 are only a few of the added expenses that goes with the responsibilities of almost being an adult.
So understandably, many teenagers start to look for great jobs to earn their own profits. Having said that, this process is difficult, and may contribute to frustration or feelings of hopelessness.
To help ease the burden of this process, I have compiled a list of five different jobs located in Prosper in no particular order that could be worth applying to that range from $10 an hour to $15 an hour.
