This episode, Host freshmen Polly Greaves and Heather Davis will review the concepts of sacrifice, peace, and power in “The Loss of the Burying Ground” by J. Anderson Coats. It is a fantasy-dystopian book featuring two girls with contrasting personalities. In recognition of teacher appreciation week and April as National Library Month, this episode will feature Ms. Riley, a librarian here at PHS, toward the end of the episode.

"The highlight of my senior year was getting closer with so many friends I've made over the years," Multer said. "I will miss Prosper so much and won't forget the memories it's given me."

As he looks forward to the next chapter, senior Zane Rarey has played lacrosse since fourth grade. He played lacrosse for Prosper since eighth grade. “I liked playing lacrosse in Texas more than anywhere else,” Rarey said. “The memories I’ve made here have been some of the best in my life.” .

Beaming with pride, senior Daniel Brown celebrates a milestone moment at home, holding his 2025 tassel as a symbol of achievement and new beginnings. Brown joined Eagle Nation Online his senior year when he moved to Texas. "That smile opened doors it for me," Brown said. "It sparked conversations, built friendships, and made people feel comfortable enough to talk to me about things they didn’t always share with others."
Senior Column: The power of a smile
Justin Wang has been an Eagle Nation Online reporter for the past two years. Looking forward, he plans to study computer science at University of California San Diego. "I found myself falling in love with interviewing new individuals and telling their stories to our community as a journalist," Wang said. "Most of all, I'm grateful to everyone on staff who made the experience on that I'll look back on and cherish."

Born in Lenham, England, freshman Polly Greaves has called 14 other places home and recently arrived in Prosper, Texas, ready to dive into the pool and pursue water polo. During the day, you can find her writing a new book, practicing her Spanish or playing the piano. Polly is stoked to start her first year of high school. She is looking forward to the variety of courses offered at Prosper high school, to give her more opportunities to follow her passions and interests.

Heather Davis, Reporter
Freshman Heather Davis is a swimmer and a player on the Prosper High School swim and water polo teams. Born in Georgia, she has moved to six different places until she moved here permanently. She loves writing and journalism, as well as photography. In fact, she hopes to enter into a couple of photography contests this year. She also likes poetry, and won an Honorable Mention award at the Collin County Poetry Contest in 2023. She is excited to finally start high school, and see how she can hone her writing and photography skills this year.
