"Generally, Main Stage is a privilege almost exclusively given to private fine art schools," stage manager senior Annabelle Nugent said. "The fact that a public school like Prosper is getting Main Stage is fantastic. Simply, it means that we are at the level of schools who specifically draft for stuff like fine arts and singing and dancing ability, and it's really a compliment to our actors and our technicians."

Before their first showing of "Hadestown: Teen Edition," senior Aiden Hansen makes a speech to the cast. Hansen served as the musical director for this show. "Music directing a whole ensemble was very challenging at first, especially just getting the respect of everyone, and I think respect is earned, not given," Hansen said. "Once we found our groove, we started moving through the music fast."

Sitting at her desk, Rachel Cummings, the social studies coach, goes through previous questions in preparation for competition. After three impactful years leading Prosper High School, Principal Nicholas Jones is stepping down to accept a new role as the district’s director of leadership, a move he described as exciting but bittersweet. “I’ve been a campus administrator for 10 years and a principal for six, but Prosper High is special,” Jones said. “This is the best school I’ve ever worked at.” Graphic made by Ethan Chatelain in Canva.
A new era for the Eagles
At the face paint station, senior Fiona Adams painted a smiley face. Multiple tables were set up with different schools and their Hope Squad programs, as well as other organizations. "I enjoy seeing all the little kids," Adams said. "I'm doing the face paints and it's really fun to make the designs and like customize it for what they want."
One step of hope
The Hope Walk event was held Saturday, March 29. The event aimed to spread positivity and support suicide prevention. The event began at 9 a.m. and ended at 11 a.m.

ENN Season 12 Episode 31
Releasing his hand from his bow, sophomore Zain Jehangiri fires his last arrow at practice before competing at the Texas Archery State Tournament. This marks Zain's fourth year competing with the Prosper Archery Team. "I continue to do archery because it feels so rewarding," Jehangiri said. "When you see your high score after a tournament, it feels like everything has finally paid off."
