Arms out, senior Tayvin Labbe tackles a Rockwall–Heath ball carrier. Labbe was a captain for this game where Prosper defeated Rockwall Heath 49 to 18. "I was really proud of how well as a defense we were able to adapt and adjust to their offense," Labbe said. "All week we were trying to prepare for something we wouldn’t be able to see and I think Friday night we executed and were able to read and react very well."

Eagles celebrate senior night with clean sweep
Head bowed, junior Justin Alfano leads the team in prayer after the game. Alfano plays as the second string quarterback. "I thought it was great I was able to be a part of my team and lead the team in prayer because I like to share my faith in every way I can and spread His name, word, and gospel," Alfano said. "Being able to do that with my team made me really happy."
Football takes homecoming game win
Reaching with one hand above her head, senior Hannah Lee successfully blocks another shot. Lee is the only senior girl on the varsity team, and has been playing water polo for four years. “I am eternally grateful for the experiences and memories Prosper Water Polo has given me,” Lee said, “And I will carry them with me throughout my life.”
Varsity water polo prepares for rematch
Huddled up, the Prosper tennis team "sets their spirit" for the game. The Eagles played against the Independence Knights. The game carried singles, doubles and mix doubles tournament.

Huddled up on the court, seniors No. 10 Zahara Johnson, No. 11 Camila Cox, no. 10 Hannah Beauford, No.20 Sophie Bridges, No. 9 junior Emma Viars and No. 2 Keely Harrington come together after losing the point. "Volleyball is important to me because before I step on the court for every game I know I get to represent Prosper," Cox said. "This is something we take a lot of pride in."

Trophy case open, film advisor Michael Logan showcases awards his team has achieved over the years. The film program won first at UIL state last year. On Oct. 15 the team will leave to go to New York City. They will be attending the All American High School Film Festival and compete throughout the week.

Government teacher Rod McCall gives his third-period senior students reasons to get their voices heard by registering to vote for Election Day, which will be Nov. 5. “I tell the seniors year after year,” McCall said. “If the senior class were to go vote, they could alter Collin County politics.”

As she leads the class, choir director Crystal Chamberlain prepares to check in with her students. Chamberlain leads the choir program alongside director Tate Keen. This year, choort students will go on a trip to Fort Worth. Due to the new district travel policies, fine art programs can only travel out of state for trips that aren't for competition once every four years.

Founders of the Prosper fencing club, Daniel Adkins and Nathaniel Ray. They've already held their first meeting and others will be scheduled soon. “Fencing is important to me because it’s separate from other sports. We have this huge football mentality,” Ray said. “I consider fencing more of a martial arts sport, and I don’t see enough support for it, so I figured it’s cool.”

"We need to secure another district win to accomplish our goal of becoming district champions," senior Davis Carte said. "We've been preparing all week and if we keep producing like we have been I know we will."

Taking a breath during the Alma Mater, junior Logan Thompson shuts his eyes and sings along to the music as the band plays. The game ended with a score of 42-16 and breaking Plano East's undefeated streak. The next game will be home against the Rock Hill Bluehawks at a game called "Battle Against the Birds," along with a Reynolds night, where eight-grade students in band from Reynolds can come to the game for free and interact with Prosper students in band and color guard.
Football 'tackles' Panthers, heads to district play against Rock Hill
One foot in front of the other, senior Erin Young stays ahead of the race. This year marks her fourth year with the cross country and track program. “What I enjoy most about running cross country is the thing that I love most – the people, the people make it the best, like just having your friends alongside you. Even for those hard moments and those hard runs, they help you push through,” Young said. “Even when you're like thinking, oh my gosh, this sucks. This is hard, they're going through the same thing with you. And it just makes a close knit environment. Everyone is so happy all the time. So like, cross country is a really nice and, super sweet environment.”
Senior cross country runner overcomes start-of-season hardships
According to freshman Eli Deutsch, the Rangers' season is about to end, and they are not going to make the playoffs this season. "Their stats show they've played under expectations and lots have gone wrong for them this year," Deutsch said. From plays to podcasts
Hand on helmet, head coach Tyler Moore congratulates junior Lathon Latiolais on a successful play. Latiolais caught four passes at Friday's game and totaled 103 yards. "We just went out there and do what we do," Latiolais said. "Defense and offense went out there and did their job so we played a great game and it showed."
