Baseball remains undefeated in districts, beats Rock Hill

4-0 record, the Eagles took on the Blue Hawks in two-game series

What: Game against the Denton Guyer Wildcats, with a score of 12-0.

When: Tuesday, March 21 at 7:30 and Friday, March 22 at 7:30 p.m.

Where: Rock Hill and Prosper High School baseball field

What’s next? The Eagles will face the Little Elm Lobos at Little Elm High School, Tuesday, February 26, at 7:30 p.m.

Focused on the mound, senior Jason Miller rests in the dugout. Miller will continue his academic and baseball career at Dodge City Community College, alongside fellow teammate Jay Cordiero. We played pretty well yesterday, definitely room for improvement but gotta be happy with a win, Cordiero said. Super impressed by the way Aiden and Skyler were able to compete on the mound.
Baseball plays first game against Little Elm, wins 2-1
Body extending down the mound, junior Brady Taylor throws a pitch. The first district game will be away on Mar. 15 at 7:30 against Guyer. The team won their last game against Southlake, 5-4.

In a circle, GT American Studies students look at the half-eclipsed sun as they lie on the practice turf. Teachers passed out protective eclipse glasses to students at the start of third period. It was definitely a cool experience, junior Jacob Piehl said. It was crazy seeing how quickly the moon came over the sun and how dark everything was. Arms outstretched, junior Faith Tull and sophomore Brooklyn Reeves reach the climax of their performance. The pair performed I Know Where Ive Been from Hairspray. The song is basically about marching for freedom for black people and no more segregation, Tull said. Its really just the characters talking about how there is a plan, that there has been suffering, that there are things that they need to do and that they can do it together.
Theatre students perform songs, monologues, scenes at Cabaret
As he prepares for the game, senior Caden Berg helps out teammate junior Lucas Tauzin with his captain arm band. This is the first playoff game of the season. This season has been very different to other seasons through out mentality and chemistry. Our team comes in to every game fired up and ready to go, Berg said. Last season we came into playoffs thinking we won something already and ended up losing, This season we knew what we had to do and we went out there and did it.
Boy's soccer team wins first playoff game, advances to next round
As he jumps onto junior Jai Akash Gopikrishnan Kumudavallis back, junior Ajay Adithyan spends time with his friends at the Indian Student Association Holi celebration. The best part of this is meeting the community and just having fun, Adithyan said. We get to meet up with friends and enjoy cultural activities together.
Students highlight culture through colors
Looking to the side, Officers of the PHS Talonettes perform their dance. The officers are senior Brianna Marler and juniors Nalla Hussain and Avery Mattox. The competition was held all day March 2. at Rockhill High School.

One foot in front of the other, senior Tate Jones prepares to pass the ball to his teammate. Im looking forward to playing Braswell since we usually get a ton of goals, Jones said. Everyone gets a chance to attack, and the energy is always high.
