Eagle Brief: Aug. 29 – Sep. 4
Students walk from the portables to the main building of Prosper High School. It is the third official week of the 2022-2023 school year. Passing period is still seven minutes long, although some portable teachers are letting students out a few minutes early.

- To change your classes, email your counselor. Counselors are assigned by last name order and can be reached via email or by requesting an in-person visit to the lower or upper houses.
- All students must have a parking pass to park in the PHS parking lot.
Upcoming
- A pep rally will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 30. The theme is “School Pride”.
- STUCO Freshman Class Officer applications are available in the Upper and Lower houses or on the Prosper Student Council Instagram @prosperstuco. Applications are available until Friday 8/23. Elections will take place on Sept 1st.
- UIL Journalism meetings have officially started. To join the team, email M
rs. Roskens. - Junior World Affairs Council’s first meeting will take place Sep. 7 in the LGI.
- The Creative Writing Club’s first meeting will take place Sep. 6 in room 1247.
- The PHS Orchestra social is on Aug. 26 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Frontier Park.
- Registration for the Junior Ring Ceremony is due Aug. 30.
- Dr. Ferguson’s Student Advisory Council is currently accepting applications.
- DECA’s first meeting is Sep. 1, before school in room 1245, as well as after school in the LGI.
- The Prosper Eagles Competitive Shooting Team’s first meeting will be held Tuesday, Sep. 6 at 7:15 p.m. at the LGI in Prosper High School. If you have questions about the club, please see Mr. Atkinson or Mr. Craft.
- The Science UIL team will begin meetings every Wednesday after school in room 2122.
- National Honor Society meets Wednesday, Aug. 31 in the LGI.
