The Talonettes will take the stage for the last dance of their season April 22 and 23 at 7 p.m.

To kick off their show, the Sweethearts of Prosper will perform their competition piece called “Novelty” to the song “School’s Out for Summer.” The performance will also feature dances to travel-themed songs, including “Route 66,” “Waves,” “Hotel California,” “Surfs Up” and “Shut Up and Drive.”

To wrap up their performance and year, the Talonettes will perform their long-standing traditional finale to the song “Last Dance.” According to team members, this will be an emotional and long-anticipated moment.

The team also said this dance will touch family and friends in the audience, and especially the dancers on stage. In past years, tears have been shed by team members as they dance together a final time and the seniors and officers “turn in” their hats and batons.

Tickets for the show can be purchased for $10 on the Talonettes website.
