Directed by Adam McKay, the main plot follows Randall Mindy (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Kate DiBlasky (Jennifer Lawerence) who go on a media tour to alert everyone of a nine kilometer wide comet, named Comet DiBlasky, that will send mile-high tsunamis across the Earth, ending human life permanently.
